I loved chilling in the hammock watching the birds and butterflies in the garden. i also enjoyed making breakfast or cacao in the spotless clean common kitchen. All the rooms are brand new. In 5 weeks travelling central america, this was the best place i stayed in - with a lot of Peace and quiet in the room and Garden and all the Restaurants and excitement when you step out. For me, this was a great mix.

Denne feriebolig ligger i biosfærereservatet Water and Peace, 11 km fra nationalparken Volcano Tenorio. Sueño Celeste B&B er en fuglekiggerhytte i Bijagua, Costa Rica. This is a special place lovingly and professional looked after by its owners. You can sense their care for the place the moment you arrive. The grounds near the buildings are beautifully maintained and then merge seamlessly into the natural rain forest around it. You are welcomed and given a personal tour of the property which is a really helpful orientation. The cabins are very well designed and don’t overlook each other. There’s good hot water and lovely products. Breakfast is wonderful taken on the terrace with stunning birds eating off the carefully positioned bird tables. You can walk around the grounds bird spotting. There’s a lovely jacuzzi and small pool to cool off in. These are kept very clean. The hosts are around making sure you have everything you need to make the most of your stay. We used guides from Bijagua Tours for bird walks and they transformed the local area for us. Without them we would have seen some lovely birds but with them our knowledge and sighting of the local birds was transformed. We were really sorry to leave. I’m almost certain you will be too!

Airport Green Studio ligger i Río Segundo og er en nyrenoveret feriebolig, 35 km fra Poas Nationalpark og 5,9 km fra Alejandro Morera Soto Stadion. We stayed at Airport Green Studio for our last night in Costa Rica. It was the perfect location since we could safely park the car, fill it up on the gas station right next to the Studio and return it to the nearly located rent company. The Hosting family is exceptionally nice! The breakfast is probably the best, we had on our whole journey! We would definitely come again.

Rancho Amalia ligger i Naranjo, under 40 km fra Poas Nationalpark og 22 km fra Catarata Tesoro Escondido. This such a hidden gem! The farm is absolutely beautiful and came as a surprise. This was our first stop out of San Jose and I really recommend it. We visited Poas, Catarata del Toro and the Blue Falls before checking in for the night at a lovely cottage. The owner is just lovely and so friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant at the farm - delicious and fresh! We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and in the morning we enjoyed drinking coffee grown at the farm whilst watching hummingbirds feed. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with the view of the valley. Absolutely magical.

Beautiful accommodation with well maintained public spaces (pool, breakfast area, walkways) all set in lovely rain forest gardens. Great hosts, and we can highly recommend the rain forest guided walk with Henry. Lots of birds!
