Our stay in the Ricky road house was simply excellent. Marek is exceptionaly friendly and helpful with an abudance of tips. What trains to take where to go out and so much more. He made us feel welcome there and even prepared wine for us when we arrived. Room was clean and spacieous with a large king size bed.

Heather's Lodge is a guesthouse offering accommodation in Cheshunt. This 5-star guest house offers free WiFi. Some units at the property include a terrace with a garden view. It’s away from the busy city of London and has a lot of stores and parks nearby (about 10 minute walks). The inside is beautifully decorated and there’s a big space to park 2 vehicles outside. The train/tube isn’t far either, only a 20 minute walk. Overall it’s a great location. Heather is a lovely host and checks to see if you’re doing good. She also has cereal, coffee, and tea in the room as well.

The Kings' House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Bramfield. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and radio and TV. There is luggage storage space at the property. We didn’t stay for breakfast as we left too early but the host was super friendly. The bed was very comfortable even though mine was a single. The room was very clean and warm. Slept like a log!

In the small village of Sheering, this family run Public House offers 12 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Inn is a family run free house that has been run by the Bedford family for over 20 years. Great character pub with excellent food and staff very helpful & friendly. Room was not large but was comfortable and what I'd expect for pub accommodation. Great value.

In the pretty Hertfordshire village of Wadesmill, this beautifully preserved 17th-century coaching inn combines modern comforts with original features. The place was fantastic, we stay at this location for our friends wedding, we arrived quite late and Ross at the reception was fantastic and welcoming, there was a little confusion with the rooms but that was resolved quickly and efficiently, will definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Ware again in the future and good luck to your travels Ross

The hotel was truly home from home. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, welcoming staff. The food was excellent and value for money. Our room was spacious, the bed huge and it was great to have a sofa to sit on and watch tv rather than the bed.

Midway, a property with a terrace, is set in Garston, 16 km from Stanmore, 16 km from Edgware, as well as 18 km from Hatfield House. I loved the lay out of the rooms and the location. The price was excellent value. The owner gave great communication with regards how to get to the location and how to access room keys etc. The location was perfect for a trip to Warner Bros Studios. We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of toilet paper and I liked the fact there was a microwave, kettle, mini fridge and tea and coffee in the rooms. The addition of an ironing board and towels was also appreciated. Bed linen was clean and the overall look of the room was modern and of a decent standard.

The Mills Guesthouse Hatfield, a property with a garden, is located in Hatfield, 2.9 km from Hatfield House, 17 km from Cockfosters, as well as 18 km from Knebworth House. Location was ideal for Hatfield house and Galleria shopping centre. Garden room was great with everything we needed. Room was clean and tidy thanks :-)

Situated in Harpenden, a 10-minute drive from Luton Airport, The Old Cock Inn features free WiFi. The M1 is a short drive away and offers access to central London in less than an hour. great location and comfortable too.
