The level of service Giannis provided is impeccable - (1) He waited for us at the bus stops (2) knowing that we don't have much time to take breakfast the next morning because of our ferry departure time at 6am, Giannis left us a packet of breadsticks, (3) When I was dining at a restaurant, my next table also is a guest of this place, they are having some issue on ferry connection to Santorini, Giannis drove all the way to the restaurant to fine the couple, explained in detailed how to get there. Excellent level of service to customers.

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. The hosts had everything clean and ready for our arrival. Thank you very much for the warm welcome! :) The place is perfect and it was all built by Roberto, one of the hosts. The view is amazing and one can watch the stars at night. Two cats also came to greet us :) It was sadly little time but we'll definetely love to come back! The location is near Aegiali and the beautiful village of Tholaria. 5 Stars!!!

Offering a garden and city view, Pension The Big Blue is situated in Katápola, 400 metres from Kato Akrotiri Beach and 1.8 km from Agios Panteleimonas Beach. The property has sea and garden views, and is 300 metres from Katapola Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Everyone and everything was perfect and very nice.

Traditionally decorated with wrought-iron beds and white-washed walls, the rooms of Grand Blue have a fridge, a safe and a TV with satellite channels. The private bathroom is stocked with slippers, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The husband and wife team Angeliki and Stergios are quite helpful and attentive. Angeliki elicits such warm feelings that she almost appears to be running on sheer joy much of the time. Stergios is more low key and interacts in a steady and circumspect manner. The location is quite good; the town is very walkable. The breakfast looked spectacular although I am not a breakfast person. My one area of dissatisfaction is the room interior. The rooms are quite stark, almost monastic in nature. I don't believe there was even a picture on a wall, and the bed and lamps were quite old, although the mattress was firm. I realize most of the guests are French and they are not as concerned with old fashioned hotel rooms as U.S. citizens. The major issue for me was the bathroom. There is no showerhead. The shower is extremely outdated and one must use a hand held shower hose. I believe the last time I even stayed in a hotel room with a hand held shower hose was 1979 or 1980. So I would ask Stergios (he seems able to fix anything) please update the showers so that the bathrooms have an overhead showerhead. It may take a while to update all the bathrooms, but at least update a few of them. Ppl will pay more if they receive a renovated room. And perhaps, Angeliki, replace the bathroom towels with softer and newer towels. It is amazing how much better one feels, if after a shower, the towels are soft and skin friendly. (even if one must hold the shower head) All this being said, I would still stay here again, if I am invited back!!

A breakfast with homemade pies is offered in the dining area. The tavern serves local cheeses, wine-cooked goat and traditional spirits during lunch and dinner. Drinks and coffee are provided at the bar. Occasionally, the tavern hosts Greek nights with music and dancing. The on-site mini market is stocked with everyday essentials. Such a great spot in Amorgos - lovely owners, friendly staff and fantastic restaurant attached. Our room was large and had a beautiful view of the sea!

The Cycladic-style Pension Barbara is conveniently located 30 metres from Katapola Port in Amorgos and 100 metres from the beach. The property offers self-catering accommodation with balcony overlooking the port or its well-tended garden. we highly recommend Pension Barbara! Barbara is very friendly, and is attentive to every detail. Our apartment was spacious, had a great view, and was well equipped. Plus, Pension Barbara is located in the center of Katapola, and Katapola is in the center of Amorgos, so it is a perfect place to set off from to explore the town and island.
