They set me up with a tuk tuk driver and I was able to do a three hour tour of the temples. She ordered a cab for me to go back to Bangkok and watched to be sure I left safely. I’m an older solo traveler and I felt quite safe there. The family was always set up in the courtyard. They lock the gate at 11 pm. My room was clean and quiet. Internet was perfect, When I needed to adjust my dates, she worked with me.

Baan Tye Wang Guesthouse is just a 5-minute drive from tourist attractions like Chedi Srisuriyothai and the Royal Palace (Wat Mahathat). It is about a 2-hour drive from lively Bangkok and provides free parking. Everything, just by chance, we chose this Guesthouse. The only thing I can say is wow, the compliments are long. Breakfast was perfect and very tasty.
