The best host ever. She was so friendly and helped with everything we asked for. I will miss her WhatsApp-messages. Kitchen fully equipped, but if you dont want to cook, there is an excellent and really cheap Taperia in front of the building. But no noise upstairs, the appartment was very quiet, both bedrooms to the back. You are in the Center of the ancient town, there is a local bus from busstation to the appartment.

Casa las cadenas was in a perfect location to visit the fabulous city of Ubeda and surrounding cities such as Baeza. It was walking distance to all that Ubeda had to offer, be it cultural attractions as well as food, drink and shopping. Maite had her place totally and cozily decorated to exceed any guests’ needs and expectations. An added bonus was an outside deck where one could enjoy a morning breakfast, a cocktail hour drink or dinner, before heading out for an evening stroll to see the city lit up. Maite met us during our appointed arrival and was very thorough with her description of the home’s amenities. She was always in touch and never hesitated to offer any assistance if we needed it….just simply a perfect host. Super friendly and obviously proud of her place and the city she works in.

It is easy to drive to being on the edge of the old town. We parked our car on the road very close to the house, or within a 5 minute walk. You can unload luggage just outside the house. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to queries. The house is very clean and excellent value for money. It is old and full of character but with modern appliances. It is on 3 floors so unsuitable for anyone who finds stairs difficult.
