Very friendly owner and people who are living around the house. The house is clean and cozy. The view from the house is very beautiful. Perfect place for a holiday with the family. In the kitchen everything is what you need. Nearby is the little bar open till very late. It was the perfect house for us. With a car you can reach everything within an hour. Staying at this villa was really cool and super comfortable. The view of the valley was awesome, and we loved hanging out on the balcony. It had a hot tub and lots of seats, making it a great place for all of us to chill and talk. The design of the villa was really neat and comfortable, with lots of light making the place feel big and welcoming. The villa had everything we needed. The TV was huge and we watch some movies, and the kitchen had all we needed to cook, including a coffee machine with lots of coffee and tea options. The owner was really nice, showing us around the villa and present us some wine and travel advises. Our stay was really enjoyable, thanks to the all features of the villa and the thoughtful touches from the owner.

Magical and very authentic place with wonderful hosts! It’s located in an ancient renovated building, featuring lots of modern amenities - bedrooms with huge comfy beds, modern bathrooms with rain showers and bathtub, a dining room with fireplace and comfy chairs, fully equipped kitchen with both new stuff and old-school stove. Also - huge smart tv in every room, good wifi, parking place, terrace and - finally -AMAZING VIEW on the valley. It’s quiet place with the sound of birds and the river. At the same time you have restaurants and big supermarket nearby. Love it! It’s a great find!

A very beautiful location, well positioned, with a fabulous view from the terraces! The host was very communicative and welcoming! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need, and the living room is very spacious. The bedroom leads to a terrace with a wonderful view over the ocean and the beautiful Funchal city. Even if public transport is well organized, I would recommend having a car to be able to move around easily. The location is a bit far from the city center, but having the advantage of being located in a very quiet area. We were extremely pleased with our stay here and would love to come back next time
