Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and the games room with table football at Hostel La Casa de Tounens, in Puerto Madryn. The property lies just 400 metres from the local beach. The owner, Vincent, is very easy-going and accommodating. His friend Victor manages the hostel over night and is also very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable (we ended up staying in all types of rooms from dorm to double bed with en suite and they were all great). To top it off the breakfast is much better than we have experienced at other hostels! Overall, an excellent hostel

Set in Puerto Pirámides, Hostel Bahía Ballenas features a garden, shared lounge, BBQ facilities, and free WiFi throughout the property. This spacious and airy hostel (with AC!) is in a very quiet beach village on Peninsula Valdes, a nature reserve on the Golfo Nuevo. Even outside the much more popular whale-watching season this area is so incredibly rich in wildlife, sea life and fossils that I stayed for three weeks instead of three days. If you're still a beginner in Castellano and Google Translate fails, there are several people in the village who are fluent in English and can translate further. The locals are very welcoming. I particularly recommend Serena de Mar, the cafe by the beach, for snacks and meals. There's no breakfast provided at the hostel, but the kitchen facilities are good, plenty of fresh ingredients to buy nearby, and we created some delicious collaborative home-made meals. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful. I was very glad to have chosen to stay there and will return. Oh, and the hostel showers are great!

Situated in Puerto Pirámides, El Cristal has a garden. Guests can enjoy garden views. The rooms in the hostel are equipped with a coffee machine.

Located in Cholila, Piuke Mapu Patagonia Hostel is a cosy eco-friendly hostel with scenic views and a large parkland. The property offers an organic orchard and free WiFi access in common areas. This hostel is beautifully furnished and full of sunshine. Most importantly, the staff was super kind and so great in helping me organise my travels to Parque Nacional Los Alerces and later my transportation to El Calafate, I would honestly give them a rating of 11 if I could.

Located between Lago Puelo's commercial area and Lago Puelo National Park, Huala Hostel has cosy rooms surrounded by an extensive park with fruit trees. excellent location t and the premises are beautiful but more importantly, Maite is a superb host!

Situated in Puerto Madryn, less than 1 km from Playa de Puerto Madryn, Guanaco Hostel features accommodation with a garden, private parking and a shared lounge. Very friendly staff, felt like a group of friends hanging out

Located 400 metres from the beach and 300 metres from Puerto Madryn’s central square, La Tosca Hostel offers 2 fully equipped common kitchens, BBQ facilities and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included. Great team, being aware of people having to wake up almost at 05:30 in order to go to do diving, for example, so adapting the breakfast so you can still have something before leaving (breakfast starts once you are under the water)... Food and drinks were amazing (cooked by one member of Staff, Elsa if I remember well)... Everyone as good as the property and the service provided. There are a few parking slots available for free (enquire first as they may not be available if you suddenly show up with a car). The lockers under the beds were amazingly big and safe (and fresh, as you don't want to leave your things in a sealed box).

Bright rooms with free Wi-Fi can be enjoyed just 3 blocks from the ocean. Puerto Madryin’s bus terminal is 6 blocks away. Private parking is with reservation. Excelente predisposición del staff

Located in Lago Puelo and with Puelo lake reachable within 3.6 km, El hostel secreto provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. We liked everything. It was perfect for our needs and the friendliness of the staff was great.
