Vandrarhemmet Plus Florence ligger 10 minuters promenad från Santa Maria tågstation. Här erbjuds boende i rum och sovsalar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. The location was perfect for us to see around the city, distance from the train station and meeting points for all tours we booked. We booked two double-bed rooms & they have family rooms too. The breakfast was so great. Sadly, we could have breakfast only 1 day, as we had early morning tours planned. The staff was so helpful.

Hostel Archi Rossi ligger i Florens historiska centrum, bara 250 meter från järnvägsstationen Santa Maria Novella. Very close to the duomo, also really close to the train station which is very helpful if you’ll be arriving or leaving via train The room was really good , the AC was tricky at first we didn’t know how to tuen it but the receptionist was very helpful.

Chiostro Delle Monache är ett före detta franciskanerkloster från 1400-talet. Klostret ligger strax utanför Volterras etruskiska mur och intill sjukhuset Presidio Ospedaliero Santa Maria Maddalena. Absolutely splendid location, with a view of Volterra town. It was even better than we immagined. Old monastery has definitely its spirit. Perfect breakfast in the inner patio. Only walking in the corridors was an experience and then the Volterra town was the highlight. Its approx. 20 min walk to the town gate, or few minutes by car to one of the parking lots around the town.
