The humble couple running the place have the drive to chat with whoever comes to their cosy restaurant. I especially loved to have sake toasts at night listening to the foreign language chats. And the food there, though fusion, is a must-try. The pretty lady owner preparing the food has a knack for what really melts tastfully in mouth!

At the accommodation all rooms include bed linen and towels. The staff were amazing, really friendly, and personable. Everything else was good but the staff were exceptional. The hostel was very clean, and the building is pretty neat looking as well. The location was within walking distance of a station and a few notable destinations. No dryer on site, just clothesline. However, there was a laundromat 2 blocks away, so that wasn't an issue. I'd recommend this location to anyone staying in Fukuoka. Great value for the cost.

Everything you need is there, including nicely filtered and chilled water, and a window to watch the cats in the cats shelter! There is an amazing sake bar downstairs. I think it is only open on Friday and Saturday so plan ahead of you want to go to this gem. The location of the hostel is convenient and central. A JR train to Hakata is only a 13 min walk away. I would definitely recommend this great accommodation and I will definitely go there again if I am ever back in Fukuoka!
