The Hotel Prinz Eugen is a comfortable 4-star hotel in a traditional embassy district, in the immediate vicinity of Belvedere Palace.

Located directly on the Gürtel opposite the Südbahnhof (Southern Train Station), the hotel offers excellent transport connections into the city centre, to the airport and to all places in and around Vienna. There is a computer in the lobby with free Internet access for our guests. The conference and banqueting rooms are suitable for up to 25 guests. The hotel does not offer parking spaces, however, there is the possibility to park your car nearby at an additional cost.

The rooms vary in size, but are mainly large. 55 standard rooms overlook the Southern Train Station and are equipped with soundproof windows. 26 superior
rooms overlook the quiet inner courtyard, and 17 panorama rooms offer tremendous views over Vienna.

Area information

The Hotel Prinz Eugen is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Belvedere Palace, in the traditional embassy district of Vienna. The hotel is opposite the Southern Train Station (Südbahnhof) with the adjoining Air Terminal (departures every 30 minutes, from 05:15 to 23:15, directly to the airport). With the excellent traffic connections to the hotel, one can easily reach the city centre in 5 minutes by the underground line U1 or by tram line D, leaving opposite the hotel. You can also walk (for approx. 15 minutes) through the extensive gardens of Belvedere Palace to reach the famous Ringstrasse. Attractive sights such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Spanish Riding School, the Hofburg (Imperial Palace) and the State Opera, as well as the traditional shopping areas in the centre, are easily reachable.

the style of decorating, the reception team- they were very patiant and gave us value information and advices(especially the tall guy who was there on saturday when we checked out). the beds were very comfortable, and b.f. was good too. thank you!

its location (we got the impression that the neighburhood wasnt so inviting...)

Check in was fast and polite. The furnishings in the room were new and well appointed. It was a very comfortable stay. The dining room was lovely and the breakfast was generous. Such a gem of a place near the Sudbahnhof!

The view from my room was nice

The public areas were not very clean - no internet connections in the rooms. The street the hotel is on is rather dirty and depressing
