next to the bus station. clean high speed wifi many choices breakfast quiet
check out at 11am
Room size and breakfast is good
wifi was difficult to connect and the quality is really poor. staff is not very friendly. it is not good for parking. The parking recommended by the hotel is almost 30 min away by walking, but the hotel did not clearly state in their description. During the middle night, when i turned on bed light, it was suddenly broken and cut the power off. After calling front desk, it was back. But the light was not fixed on 2nd day.
Comfortable bed Breakfast Quiet room Cleanliness Leilja and Mr Winter on reception
Absence of in-room tea/coffee making facilities Having to chose between quiet and "fresh" air Toaster at breakfast has just two slots (hotel has over 100 rooms, I believe) Washing gel instead of shampoo No green policy on towels, etc.
Doručak je odličan.
1) location is excellent - public transport is very accessible. At least 5 mins walk to the train station. However, you can not just walk to main attractions. There is only one attraction that you can walk to - Belvedere Palace 2) Reception staff very friendly except one Indian lady. 3) Breakfast has wide variety if choices.
1) The reception clerk (Indian) who seems to be so unfriendly. I experienced it on my first day, just asking simple question and i got an attitude. 2nd day the same, just asking her to repeat her statement as she can't pronounce her syllables properly and showed abruptness. 2) Wifi is a challenge to connect. 3) Room is tiny but I can live with that but I was given a room facing the main thoroughfare and noise kept me sleepless for 5 nites. My fault not to request a change of room, I did not think about it, I didn't want to make waves, but I should have asked. 4) The room is equipped with A/C but is not working. I was told it is too cold to operate. Had it been working, I can have a good sleep maybe, as I do not have to keep the balcony doors (no windows) open. The room is warm 21 degrees C, therefore I need air.
The hotel is within walking distant of one of the train stations. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Has an elevator.
Staff was very helpful and even made us coffee before the bar opened while we waited to check in early. Location was good for mobile travelers who could walk a ways to destinations restaurants and subway since not very close to city center which kept price very reasonable.
Wifi was difficult to sign onto and stay signed onto and not readily available in room. We do a lot of our trip planning including local sight seeing by internet as well as keeping up with personal and business emails so good internet access is important to us.
Breakfast and breakfast room staff
Very hot in rooms due to mis-understanding re: air conditioning. Fair walk to Metro station to get into the city centre (no direct tram)
We were provided with a suite so we had lots of room. The room also had a balcony which was a bonus. The breakfast was very good
While we were located next to the train station which had its advantages it also meant we were about a 25 min walking from the downtown core
Unfriendly not helpful stuff, instead of superior room we had a standart one
Breakfast was very good
Lack of control of a/c
Near main station and underground
Lack of pillows
Very good breakfast arrangements with an excellent range of food available. Top notch fresh coffee. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly the barman.
Shower over a very small bath tub which was quite difficult to use because the shower head was on one side rather than on the end wall. The room furniture looked a little dated.
Lovely breakfast and helpful staff
No lunch or dinner served at this hotel made my stay less positive, and I was using crutches at the time.
No facilities for a hot drink in the room.
location is not very far from city center and near by many transportation choises.
Excellent location,clean room, fabulous breakfast.
Perfect breakfasts and good location - it's few minutes walk from trams, metro and 2 stops from karlsplatz. Just exactly what you need when you know your way around and need some decent place to stay. pubs in the line of sight are included.
Location, personnel service, hotel decoration, buffet breakfast excellent
- The staff were friendly and helpful. - The room was very clean. - Not so far from the city center, around 30 minutes walking distance.
- Although the room was clean and tidy, the hotel in general is very old-fashioned. For some people this might be an issue, for other people it is part of the classic atmosphere in Vienna. - The internet did not work during the night I stayed there. - The cleaning staff were very noisy during the early morning.
+ old style, representative + location: close to Belveder
- its best time has passed - furniture a bit old
Our room was excellent and clean. The breakfast was good.
Nothing to say unless the staff was unfriendly.
Very good breakfast included in the room. The only place in Germany and Austria I visited that had reliable wireless.
I wished there were more cafes and restaurants near the hotel.
big breakfast buffet included!
The service of the staff and location of the hotel.
The lack of hot drinking water when we need some coffee or tea.
