The staff at reception, the room staff and the tour desk were fantastic! The location is perfect for restaurants, shopping and local buses though I did not take local buses as planned as the transfers organised from the tour desk were easier and good value.
When I arrived they tried to send me to another hotel as they said there was a problem with their booking system. Seems to happen a lot with this hotel. They then tried to charge me more than my booking.Com arrangements. The pool is small and not too clean. The superior single room was tiny!
Staff were helpful and friendly.
The tourist agency in the hotel was not good. We booked a trip to the Argentinian side of the Iguassu Falls, including the boat ride. They did not give us the right documentation and so when we got to the falls, the staff there sent us from one office to another. Neither did they they us what we should bring eg money for the Park Fees. We had paid for the tour and thought it was all included. Just as well we had money.
Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Wifi speed was good, good facilities. They let us stay and use the facilities and held our luggage for the day while we waited for our transport later in the day. There is also a GREAT restaurant two doors down for a VERY nice price.
Not much I didn't like. Shower was a little dangerously slippery and pressure a bit weak but good temperature.
great location helpful staff breakfast for all tastes very clean
Concierge services; Quick access (<15min) to all tourist spots; Good service; Comfortable stay;
Swimming pool is too small; No in house restaurant hence no room service;
The staff were just amazing,very helpful,attentive,polite and charming. I can only highly recommend.
Best value for price . If we will be back to foz da iguaso, it will be to this hotel
The staff was helpful and cordial. Not much else.
Upon arrival I was told that my 5 day booking that was made in early Sept was now 'oversold'...the told me that they had arranged for us to stay one night at another hotel then could move back! It was too late to speak to management at the other hotel to see if they would match the rate...and the Tarobá...they said that if I did not pay for the entire additional 4 nights they could no longer guarantee the same rate...felt like a 'hostage' In hindsight, I should have stayed at the other hotel ) nicer facility, beautiful pool, grounds and better location and I felt the Taroboá did not earn or DESERVE my business...The Golden Tulip is a MUCH better choice!!!
- fitness room joined to entertainment facilities; lots of noise and crowded which is not comfortable when you follow a schedule -check out time is too early (11 am)
This hotel has a perfect location close to the local bus terminal It is also surrounded by good restaurants The personal is helpful and there are service for taxi, buses etc The breakfast is in a nice room and has good quality
Very friendly and helpful staff, location just next to the bus terminal
No view from the room, noisy neighbours
Very good location, professional service, excellent breakfast.
Staff was friendly, although English was minimal. Room was clean with all amenities needed. Fun playroom with pool table and games to bide your time until the rain stops. All in all, it was an OK experience. Just don't expect a lot of English speaking help in getting around.
Location wasn't the best... not many places to eat nearby. Not recommended for single women to walk around at night. Travel desk will book your trip to the falls but make sure you don't get charged transport to the falls for each person, as you are in the same private car. Otherwise, I recommend that you take a taxi out in front, which is cheaper as they only charge per ride, not per person. Breakfast is in the new wing on the 7th floor. We were in the old wing and they decided to fix the only elevator while we were there so we had to walk up 4 flights.
Clean, people were friendly, good beds, nice bathroom. Breakfast in the mornings had good options. The hotel is located close to the town bus station, where we caught the buses to Iguacu Falls (both Brazil and Argentina sides). It's also a easy walk to a big area of businesses in the town and plenty of restaurants.
Room size No options to change rooms
Hotel is located near to the bus station which is very convenient. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast helped enjoy the trip.
Rooms are wery small.
It's close to bus terminal where you can take a bus to the Waterfalls, to Paraguay and to the Airport.
I arrived to hotel on the day I booked and they didn't have a room for me. Even though they arranged me a first night in different hotel (which was good), the hassle of getting my booked room the next day continued. I had to argue to get my room in a desired time so I don't lose the whole day and can actually visit Waterfalls and National park.
Phone call cost more than the taxi!
Location. Closed to zoo.
Crean and safe.
Amenity was missing, especially there is no razor and it was perplexed. I went drag store which was front person recomended to buy razor.
Clean Location near bus stop and fairly central. Fabulous wifi speeds Near a couple of ok restaurants Helpful travel desk Decent breakfast included (cafe da manha)
Toilet paper=toilet napkins Overpriced for what it is A bit shabby once you get past the lobby Americans might not find it to the usual Best Western standards. Far from real shopping and restaurant areas
Simple and clean room, good wifi, presence in the hotel of a travel agency where you can book your daily trip to the waterfalls (Brazilian and Argentine side) and more… 5 min by taxi to the shopping center (9 blocks away), close supermarket (5 min by walk).
staff of the travel agency with a poor ability to speak English, poor breakfast…not many option.
