The bed was extremely comfortable!!

Staff was friendly and helpful

Walls were pretty thin...

Very easy to find en route from Uclulet to Victoria.

Too far from marina area; did not want to drive and walk is 30+ mins.

Location good and staff excellent

Advertisement lead one to feel they were getting two rooms each with a queen bed. Did not happen. Two queen beds crammed into a small room for 4 people. Air conditioner was noisy and ineffective. Breakfast was a joke. No juices, stale cereal, no muffins or biscuts, some white bread only (we prefered brown bread) milk was warm for what cold cereal there was and the coffee was weak and cold, No fruit or yogurt available, Bathroom cramped and exhaust fan did not work. Very dissapointing stay.

Convenient location, you can tell the staff tried hard to make the rooms clean, towels were nice.

Very old hotel that is badly in need of some upgrades. Old carpet, smoking rooms that are now not, but still smell like it, old curtains, air conditioner only had a fan and when you turned it on, it smelled. Bed is badly in need of being replaced

Ruime kamer, voor ons een goede locatie, redelijk ontbijt inbegrepen bij de prijs.

Badkamer gedateerd en kitranden beschimmeld, zag er niet zo fris uit maar als overnachtingshotel en voor deze prijs in Canada kan je niet te veel eisen stellen maar ik kan me voorstellen dat mensen zich ergeren aan dergelijk slecht onderhouden hotels.

The staff was very friendly

Besides the friendly staff we didn't like anything... The room smelled awfull! No wonder, since the window couldn't be opened... There was airco but it was so dirty that giant flakes of black dust were blown on our pillows! Thereby it was so cold that we couldn't leave it on trough the night because we didin't want to wake up with a terrible cold. So we had a very uncomfortable hot night (july). At least there was a 'free' breakfast in the morning. That is, if you like white bread, coloured cereal and milk - very, very poor. The hotel claims to be in the centre of town, but in fact it is a 15 min drive - to what is the most sad town we've ever seen. Our advise: skip this hotel and town and drive up to the beautiful town Tofino!
