The Japanese Standard Company is a Mom & Pop company which owns and runs 3 legal short term rental units it Victoria. Takayo does all the cleaning, furnishings etc, while Paul does all the computer and tech stuff. While we are new to this Channel, we are not new to the short term rental market. We've been with AirBnB for over a year and have over 250 five star reviews on our properties.

We have just finished renovating our third, legal condo to make it an outstanding executive home away from home. This is our biggest and best unit yet! The unit has been completely stripped, cleaned, repainted with new furniture added. It is as clean and as stylish as we can possibly make it. This unit is located on the 3rd floor. It is South facing with a large balcony & BBQ overlooking the garden. It is very quiet and peaceful. The main room has the kitchen, island, TV and sofa bed along with access to the deck and BBQ. The bedroom is behind the smoked, moveable glass doors. The washroom has a deep shower along with a brand new washer and dryer. Check in is fully automatic at any time of the day and parking is available for 10 dollars a day in the indoor garage which is much cheaper than street parking or parking in the lot across the street.

In Victoria 2.0, the food culture embraces fusion, the beer leans toward craft brews and the abundance of bicycles seems to have more in common with Holland than England. It's still one of the most British cities in North America, but there's more to Victoria than tearooms, antique shops and galleries (though there are plenty of those). Driven by the younger generation, the city has sprouted a collection of cool shops, authentic coffee bars and unique restaurants. It also has more cycling routes than any other Canadian city, providing a great way to explore the picturesque location (and avoid an afternoon of antique shopping). The Chinatown in Victoria, British Columbia is the oldest Chinatown in Canada and the second oldest in North America after San Francisco's.
