Beautiful old chalet nicely renovated in the heart of Gryon. Fully equipped with a central fire place. Nothing is missing. Parking available. We felt like at friends who would have prepared the place for us. The chalet is in a walking distance from Gryon train station to the ski area.

Welcome to Rayon de Soleil, a beautiful Luxury Chalet built in 1748 with a sunny terrace, a garden and a balcony with breathtaking views over the Alps. Completely renovated in 2016 and again in 2019, the chalet boasts many beautiful original features, it sleeps up to 8 people and can extend to 10 when the ground floor self-contained studio is included. The chalet is situated over three and a half floors with a spacious living room, an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, a dining area leading to a balcony, 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of them is an ensuite adjacent to the master bedroom). Additionally, there is a recently renovated self-contained luxury studio (with its kitchenette, shower room and toilet, sitting area, a queen-size bed and underfloor heating) situated on the ground floor of the chalet, with a separate entrance and a private outside seating area with stunning views. With original beams, a beautiful fireplace, and matching furnishing, the chalet has an exceptional cosy feel where you want to spend time with family or friends all year round. Breathtaking views of the Alps, clear air, pure water, and quiet safety of the village, with close proximity to ski and sledge areas, as well as hiking (from spring to autumn, free access card from the tourist office that gives free entry and discounts across the resort). Mountain bike trails, Wellness and Spa facilities in Villars. With that, we are happy to share this slice of heaven with you! Welcome drinks are offered upon arrival! See you soon!
The Chalet Rayon de Solei is situated in the historical village of Gryon nestled in the Swiss Alps, just a stone's throw from Villars-sur-Ollon. The chalet is well-connected with the ski resort region of Villars and Gryon, Les Diablerets, Glacier 3000 and Barboleuse (only 2 mins by a free shuttle bus to Barboleuse cable car station). The chalet is 2 hours away from Geneva airport; it is easily accessible by car all year round (with free private parking for up to 3 cars at the property) or by train - 2 mins walk to a small historic tram-train that takes you directly to the centre of Villars-sur-Ollon (with an abundance of restaurants, lively apres-ski, bowling or a swimming pool). The train passes Villars and takes you up directly to Bretaye ski station (the usual meeting place for ski schools). The train journey is free of charge for ski-pass holders, Magic Pass holders and a subject to other regional offers.
