The size is just right not too big, location is central but still walking to mall takes more than 10 minutes which is still alright.

Sorry it had taken me a month to write this review. I want to especially thank the manager at the executive lounge (Even Lin 林伊雯). She was so helpful throughout the stay and helped me to contact the Didi company to find my iPhone which I had left on the Didi on the way to the hotel. She also helped us with other things as well during the trip which made our stay very smooth.
We booked the InterContinental Club Room so we had club lounge access on the 7th Floor. We got upgrade to an even better room with a view to the theme park next door. The staff at the hotel are very professional.
The hotel is very well ran with a family focus. We loved the pool /beach / water park in the middle of the hotel. There are elevators connecting the guests from the room floor straight to the pool area.
The breakfast was amazing by the way. Lots of options of western and Chinese food.
There is a underground train station a few steps in front of the hotel entrance. So it is well connected.
We really enjoyed our vacation and thank you once again Club Intercontinental Manager (Even Lin 林伊雯).

Shenzhen is considered one of the most successful and prosperous cities in China. It is located in the Guangdong province, along the border with Hong Kong. Although 30 years ago it was a small fishing village, the creation of the first Special Economic Zone transformed the region into a bustling metropolis with almost 15 million people.
Its shiny urban landscape and cultural life include contemporary icons like the Shenzhen Library, the Concert Hall, and the Portofino complex. The districts of Futian, Luohu and Nanshan are packed with modern hotels, including some of the best 4 and 5-star accommodation in Shenzhen.
The city is famous for its amusement parks, including the’Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages’. During the 17th century, migrants from the northern Hakka peoples arrived in significant numbers, and remnants like the ‘Crane Lake Fortified Hakka Village’ are an important legacy. The region includes beautiful beaches, and the Dapeng Peninsula is gaining momentum as one of the country’s best coastal stretches.
The city is serviced by Bao'an International Airport, while Hong Kong International Airport is reachable by public transport. Ferry, bus and railway links to Hong Kong, Macau or Guangzhou are also available. Whether you need a fancy hotel in the business district or express accommodation near the airport, don’t miss the Shenzhen deals on Booking.com!
Shenzhen is a well managed modern city. It is ok even if you don't know a bit of Chinese. No problems in exploring and roaming around. Perfectly safe. Local Chinese people in Shenzhen are very cooperative and mind their own business. Very helpful and chill community. Night life is fantastic. I love to visit again for longer periods.

Shenzhen is a very vibrant city with a relatively young population, with the majority of the population under the age of 30. Nanshan is the high tech area where HQ's of tech firms are located, it is like Silicon Valley on steroids

Good place, much better than 20+ year ago when I used to worked around that area. But some people there quite rude, especially taking the MRT, people never follow rule to let passengers leave the car first. Also too many smoker, you can smell them at every street, every building, every toilet.....

The subway system is huge.
The subway system is huge. You can find subway entrances almost anywhere you go. I carried a subway map and this enabled me to change lines at interconnected stations to get back to my hotel. The subway stations often have shops and eateries. They are so big that you need to be careful which exit you use. You can end up hundreds of meters away from where you want to be. There are many parks that are well kept and shady. The visitor needs to be aware that this city is not centered around Western tourism. If you speak Chinese you will be better able to enjoy all ShenZhen has to offer. The theme parks of "Window of the World" and "Chinese Cultural Village" are huge. You need to walk around them for 4 to 6 hours before nightfall and then stay for the lights. I found the people very friendly and most were willing to help me. They used their phone translator App to assist me. BE SMART, get a SIM card at the port of entry. All shops can only sell SIMs to people with a Chinese address and phone number. The ports have SIMs for tourists. Google translate doesn't work get another translate APP.
Location was great as it was about 10 minutes walk to either Qiaocheng North or Qiaocheng East metro stations where you can take line 2 or line 1 and these lines get you to almost all the major attractions in Shenzhen (e.g. Sea World, Dameisha Beach, Window of the World, Splendid China Folk Village). Just opposite the hostel is the OCT East Market building which has a supermarket and a few restaurants. There are also other good restaurants and cafes nearby (< 5 minutes walk).
One of the rooms that we booked was a corner room, and the city view was enthralling! My family and I have visited so much 5-star hotels, and this is by far one of my kids' favorites. All hotel employees were polite, accommodating, and good in English. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and are filled with high-end furnitures/products. It was also close to malls like Coco Park.
Hotel is old and looks a bit dated now but very clean,I stayed there 23 years ago and everything is exactly the same.
Breakfast was very good and so much to choose from.
Pool was very clean and good changing facilities.
Hotel is very quiet and well below capacity right now .
Room rates are good right now as its still very quiet in Shenzhen right now.
The hotel is perfect, such a good location, clean, big variety in breakfast, friendly staff and excellent views over the city. I have to give a special thanks to Jonathan at reception, very helpful, speaks very good english and was able to help us in everything as a foreigner at times it can be hard in China due to the language barrier.
I stayed in several hotels in Shenzhen for work. Langham is not the newest, but its service keeps at the highest level! From check in to check out, all the staffs are friendly and professional. It must take a lot to have such a good team!
I also love the few from club room and lounge.
It's location is very convenient.
The Apartment complex is close to Shenzhen’s main rail station, shops and malls are a minutes away from you, either by subway or by walk, restaurants are close by too.
I’ve asked the staff to put the address in mandarin just in case you want to show it to the cab driver. Much easier.
This apartment is a very good choice to stay the city center. Very good location, many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. The room also was excellent, clean, comfortable bed, I had everything I needed. The staff of the hotel very helpful and friendly. Very good value of money.
Good Location in the center of Luohu with direct access to metro station (100m). Rooms are not brand new but huge and comfortable. Employees are all very kind, helpful and discreet. The hotel I'm going all the time when I'm in Shenzhen. Price is also very low.
this hotel is amazing, I love the concrete walls 😃combined with New (inside)and Old(outside) .
So creative but going with the acient architecture …thank you, just love it 😊…
..the wind breezing through the center of building is cozey
Although this is not a new hotel, the maintenance of everything in the room, bathroom is so good. Location is also great. Shopping and eating is just within short walking distance around.
Perfect location, very clean and modern, professional ans friendly staff, spacious room, flexible check-in/check-out.. It's a true 5 star hotel. Well done China 🇨🇳 👍
The hotel is in a great location of ShenZhen. Very close to the Dongmen subway. The hotel is very old but with all the necessary needs. It is really value for money.
