Jason at Reception arranged a free upgrade to a Premium Suite and we checked in early as the Suite was ready . Jason from Reception was also extremely helpful, and caring. And we also had a fruit basket and a Snack box for our Welcome gift from Manager Dean Wan. The hotel location was great close to Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Terminal. Also there were free shuttle buses to Cotai Strip and to the Border to Zhuhai. Chris from Concierge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He helped us plan our daily trips around Macau.

FAQs about hotels in Macau

Developing on History

Macau is the true east meets west philosophy. Buddhist temples coexist with Baroque churches, peaceful oriental parks are overshadowed by mega-casinos and cobblestone streets are filled with rickshaws.

Hong Kong’s neighbour across the Pearl River strait consists of the mainland that borders the People's Republic of China and 2 major islands joined by the Cotai Strip. Coloane island is a natural wonderland with its mountains and beaches, whereas Taipa includes Macau International Airport and residential suburbs.

The prominent Macau Tower dominates the skyline of this former Portuguese colony and denotes the coming of age of modern-day Macau. It has set the stage for an economic boom with Vegas-style casinos lining the Macau Peninsula waterfront.

Historic sites and cuisine are important factors in this shining tourism star of China. St. Paul’s Cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time with its ruins dating back to the 16th century. The fusion of Mediterranean flavours and traditional Chinese cooking methods makes eating out in the capital an unforgettable experience.

You are sure to find a hotel to fit your budget on Booking.com. There are 5-star beachside hotels, business accommodation and mid-range hotels for all types of travellers.

Macau's main highlights can easily be explored in two or...

Macau's main highlights can easily be explored in two or three days, or even as a day trip. However, the city is equally rewarding when enjoyed at a more relaxed, local pace. The Macau Peninsula is highly walkable, allowing visitors to discover its distinctive blend of cultures, architecture, and neighbourhoods on foot. Macau also makes an excellent base for exploring the wider region. From here, it is easy to take day trips to Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and destinations further afield, thanks to the city's excellent location and transport connections. Whether you are visiting for a short stay or a longer trip, Macau offers far more than a typical weekend destination. The food is outstanding, and both Portuguese and Macanese cuisine are well worth experiencing. Their unique blend of flavours and culinary traditions is one of Macau's greatest attractions, alongside its UNESCO-listed Historic Centre, which reflects the city's rich cultural heritage and unique position as a meeting point between East and West.

This hotel offered a level of comfort and service we have never experienced before. We have stayed in some very good hotels, but this hotel and the service provided surpassed any other experience we have had. From checkin to the smallest of details everything was of the highest standard. . Thankyou. We will be back one day soon.

Loved Macau for its historical past and also its modernity.

Loved Macau for its historical past and also its modernity. Everywhere we walked was spotlessly clean. Buy a bus pass to get around town when it’s too hot or rainy to walk somewhere. Although taxi fares are reasonably priced. Bus fares are very cheap and the buses themselves are very frequent, easy to use and so clean and air conditioned. Locals will want to try out their English to help you. Plenty of fabulous restaurants to try. Traditionally Chinese, or Thai.

Macau is a great getaway from Hong Kong.

Macau is a great getaway from Hong Kong. It has a 500 year old Portuguese history with a plethora of Churches, museums, ruins, gardens and old world charm. Of course there is also the gambling and night life. Notable Portuguese restaurant include O Santos in Taipa and Fernando's on Hac Sa Beach in Coloane. For the more adventurous you can bungey jump off the Macau Tower (the highest jump in the World), climb its spire or walk around it on the outside viewing deck. Being a family destination there are frequent shows, concerts and exhibitions such as Cirque de Soleil and the Legend of Dancing Water at City of Dreams. And don't forget the egg tarts at Lord Stowe's Bakery in Coloane Village.

What more can I say? We went to Macau for the Grand Prix weekend and couldn't have been any happier with our choice. We were able to walk to the hotel from the ferry terminal and the hotel itself was amazing; so beautifully appointed and spacious. The pool was awesome and the cafe next to the lobby offered a cheaper food option for when we were on the run. Around a half hour walk to Macau Tower, fifteen to the pit straight entry or ferry terminal and so many other sights to see nearbye.

Gucci at the concierge and Joanne at the reception really took care of all our needs from celebration of family birthday to all the itinerary. The service here is really the best. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety, facility was good and clean, the hotel is a lot quieter than other bigger hotel which I really enjoyed.
