This is our favourite place to stay when in Macau. The hotel is beautifully designed… down to the air vent panels and coffee cups in the room. It is a little isolated and, therefore, is not over-run by tourists. Our room has a beautiful, open view of Hengqin (China) across the river. The jogging/cycling path along the river is not far from the hotel. The in-room facilities rivals any top-tier hotel. There is a one-time setup of drinks in the fridge and bath salts in a beautiful, functional bathroom with separate shower stall & toilet. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant and a good coffee shop (we have not tried the sushi place) as well as a convenience store in the hotel. The staff are generally friendly and accommodating. I cannot comment on the huge pool deck as we did not use it but it look’s busy on weekends.

Rising 154 metres into the sky, the luxurious MGM Macau features a unique glass exterior which reflects the colours of the South China Sea and Nam Van Lake.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at MGM Macau hotel and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The room size was spacious, clean, and provided a relaxing atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. One of the best things about the room was that the mini bar was included, which was a nice added bonus. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Yannes, who went above and beyond to provide exceptional service during my stay. When we realized that we had left some important documents in the hotel room after we had already departed and arrived back in Hong Kong, we were worried that we would not be able to get them back in time. However, due to the importance of the documents, courier companies were unable to accept the order. That's when Yannes stepped in and offered to deliver the documents back to us personally from Macau to Hong Kong. Yannes was a true professional and her dedication to providing outstanding service was unmatched. She communicated with us effectively and kept us updated throughout the entire process. Her willingness to go the extra mile to help us out was truly appreciated. Overall, my stay at MGM Macau was a wonderful experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The combination of excellent facilities and exceptional service, particularly from Yannes, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you, MGM Macau, for a fantastic experience!

A 15-minute walk from Guia Fortress, Senado Square and Macau Museum, the modern Emperor Hotel offers spacious accommodation in central Macau. A 24-hour front desk and free parking are available.
Cheap and affordable but honestly it's really not much to expect except for a place to take bath an rest. It's located in one of the place that is rather crowded in Macau and it is easy to get access to a lot of places, but we still need to get the Macau pass before anything can be convenient.

It’s a beautiful older building with a wonderful view.
Macau is the true east meets west philosophy. Buddhist temples coexist with Baroque churches, peaceful oriental parks are overshadowed by mega-casinos and cobblestone streets are filled with rickshaws.
Hong Kong’s neighbour across the Pearl River strait consists of the mainland that borders the People's Republic of China and 2 major islands joined by the Cotai Strip. Coloane island is a natural wonderland with its mountains and beaches, whereas Taipa includes Macau International Airport and residential suburbs.
The prominent Macau Tower dominates the skyline of this former Portuguese colony and denotes the coming of age of modern-day Macau. It has set the stage for an economic boom with Vegas-style casinos lining the Macau Peninsula waterfront.
Historic sites and cuisine are important factors in this shining tourism star of China. St. Paul’s Cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time with its ruins dating back to the 16th century. The fusion of Mediterranean flavours and traditional Chinese cooking methods makes eating out in the capital an unforgettable experience.

There's nothing that I don't remember not liking Macau. Staying for a short period of the makes me feel relax and I did enjoy the sorrounding views. I definitely would recommend Macau for people who wants to explore more about Macau. It was awesome!
have bus stops near the hotel; easily accessible to the Outer Harbour Ferry to HK.China; near to the International Airport; have many nice restaurants near the hotel; there is one local supermarket that opens 24H.
start at the old Macau and wonder at the streets and eateries and stay in Taipa casinos for a modern touch. public buses and Taxis are affordable. from ferry terminal there are free shuttle services to hotels and back to feery terminals.
Old Macau is a beautiful reminant of the old Portugese Colony. New Macau is bright, loud and vibrant with Casinos. However, beyond visiting historical sites in old Macau and seeing pretty Casinos in new Macau there is nothing much to do. Food is generally overpriced and not necessarily tasting good. If you are not into gambling then you may run out of activities. However, for a short visit I would say it's worth the visit. At most you need 2 days to finish seeing the whole place.
Macao is a very interesting mix of cultures and languages. A once Portuguese colony, all that remains from those times is the language in signposts and administrative services and the colonial architecture and Portuguese food amidst Chinese food and habits. There is a huge contrast between the casinos and resorts areas and Macao beaches. All are worth visiting and experiencing.
Aside from gambling and shopping the macau tower and the temple are must sees. There are a few museums most are free or very cheap. Buses are easy to use and a fixed price, taxis are easy to pick up. Ritz Carlton cafe is worth a visit
