So convenient as the hotel offers free bus shuttle no matter which port you are coming to Macau. The bus stop for the public transportation is just in front of the hotel if you want to explore other parts of Macau. And the hotel itself is just amazing. I loved everything about it. Great experience!!!

The property was amazing. Everything and more. The staff were super helpful they made our stay that little bit more special by decorating our room and leaving us a card and rose congratulating us on our 12th year wedding anniversary. It was lovely.

The Artyzen Grand Lapa hotel left a very pleasant impression. It is clean, beautiful, and cozy — everything is thoughtfully designed, and you can really feel the care for the guests. I would especially like to highlight the staff — they are very polite, attentive, and always ready to help in any situation. It was particularly nice to interact with Edgar, who speaks Russian and gave very valuable advice about Macau, and Ariel, who is always smiling and creates a great atmosphere.

Everything was top notch, from ultra modern look and facilities to super friendly staff and concierge. You get a box of fresh fruits and a mini bar with most of the stuffs in it free (beers, soft drinks, biscuits, capsule coffee, etc). They were refilled with every house cleaning 2 happening 2 times a day. You can pair up your phone to the room speakers and enjoy your own musics. The room speakers will create a sort of immersive experience. The room has 2 tablets. With each of them, you can control lights, curtains, blinds, tv and you can order food, get info, etc. All in all, i can say sofar, Morpheus is the best 5 star hotel that i have ever been to.

We arrived around noon, a bit earlier than check in time, they tried to find a room for us in a short while and actually it was also upgraded to a harbor view room. They also sent us a snack pack, a fruit dish and a souvenir bear which my daughter really loved. During our stay, all the staff that we met are very friendly and helpful, the shuttle bus also makes traveling convenient. The hotel is very close to the fishman’s harbour, and the Guia lighthouse as well. I will recommend the hotel to other visitors to Macau.

FAQs about hotels in Macau

Developing on History

Macau is the true east meets west philosophy. Buddhist temples coexist with Baroque churches, peaceful oriental parks are overshadowed by mega-casinos and cobblestone streets are filled with rickshaws.

Hong Kong’s neighbour across the Pearl River strait consists of the mainland that borders the People's Republic of China and 2 major islands joined by the Cotai Strip. Coloane island is a natural wonderland with its mountains and beaches, whereas Taipa includes Macau International Airport and residential suburbs.

The prominent Macau Tower dominates the skyline of this former Portuguese colony and denotes the coming of age of modern-day Macau. It has set the stage for an economic boom with Vegas-style casinos lining the Macau Peninsula waterfront.

Historic sites and cuisine are important factors in this shining tourism star of China. St. Paul’s Cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time with its ruins dating back to the 16th century. The fusion of Mediterranean flavours and traditional Chinese cooking methods makes eating out in the capital an unforgettable experience.

Macau is a great getaway from Hong Kong.

Macau is a great getaway from Hong Kong. It has a 500 year old Portuguese history with a plethora of Churches, museums, ruins, gardens and old world charm. Of course there is also the gambling and night life. Notable Portuguese restaurant include O Santos in Taipa and Fernando's on Hac Sa Beach in Coloane. For the more adventurous you can bungey jump off the Macau Tower (the highest jump in the World), climb its spire or walk around it on the outside viewing deck. Being a family destination there are frequent shows, concerts and exhibitions such as Cirque de Soleil and the Legend of Dancing Water at City of Dreams. And don't forget the egg tarts at Lord Stowe's Bakery in Coloane Village.

Macau was a wonderful destination to visit, with a great mix of beautiful hotels, famous landmarks, delicious food, and convenient transportation. We really enjoyed exploring the city, taking in the lively atmosphere, and visiting iconic spots such as the Parisian area and other attractions nearby. The trip was relaxing, fun, and memorable, and we would be happy to visit Macau again.

With an old colonial atmosphere, mixing the portuguese and chinese influences, Macau is huge different from nearby Hong Kong. Of course you have all the Las Vegas vibe or even, closing the eyes, Venice and Paris. Very good restaurants either expensive or rather cheap

Macau is very small.

Macau is very small. But that is in my opinion it's biggest strenght. You are well able to see all the important places in a day or two. Very beautiful and interesting history can be seen in "old Macau" island. Definitelly worth it to check out the Cotai Strip, the Las Vegas of the East. To me the people felt very nice. The whole place including the places where majority of people lived were spotless and I felt incredibly safe a big contrast to Western Europe where I work. The only thing I did not like was: I wanted to visit a local nightclub but everytime I followed the maps I came to a casino. The only club I found was "adult" oriented. Do people not party in Macau? Do they just test their luck?

Everything was perfect! From the smooth check-in through the nicely decorated and spacious room to the tasty breakfast, it was a great stay. We picked the hotel because the price was lower than other similar accommodation options in Macau, but it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The beds were especially comfortable, the bathroom was clean and very nice, and the balcony view was awesome. It is also worth mentioning that the staff was extremely welcoming and spoke very good English. A great value for money!

Can’t get any better than this! Easily one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It has a truly unique vibe — a place full of surprises, where anything can happen. That atmosphere comes on top of already exceptional standards: high-quality amenities, an excellent breakfast, and a very comfortable room. The service goes above and beyond — every little detail is carefully thought out. If I ever return to Macau, I would gladly choose this hotel again!
