What a way to welcome us to Costa Rica!! This place was such a lush, beautiful, tranquil place to start our first trip to Costa Rica! Grounds are just stunning with fauna and hummingbirds and butterflies abounding… a birdwatcher’s paradise. We also hear our first howler money onsite though we never saw him. Massages were out of this world good… and reasonable. Do not miss! Food was cooked to order and scrumptious and made with whole, fresh ingredients… so appreciate. Staff was so helpful and accommodating and the rooms are roomy and very, very quiet with comfy beds and pillows! Was just dreamy and wish we had stayed another night. We did have 4 wheel drive but did not find it at all difficult to get to the property… and never had to use our four wheel drive. We went at the start of dry season, so perhaps it’s different during rainy, but we found it easy to get to!

The property is down a long dirt road on a completely isolated beach, if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful location with not many people it is perfect. If you enjoy being able to walk out of your hotel and have a handful of options for food or shopping, this is not the place for you. Rental car necessary when staying here, which was a major perk for us.
