Excellent location and fantastic helpful staff. Would stay there again without hesitation if in Prague again. Only issue was that shower head in bath could not be fixed to wall but not the end of the world

Fantastic location, great value for money, clean and well appointed rooms, good choice at breakfast, all in all one of the best city hotels we have stayed at, would always choose this hotel when staying in Prague.

The Grand Hotel Praha is in an excellent location for one's visit to Prague. We were able to walk in any direction easily to reach a point of interest. It is also well situated to use the tram service in Prague. A key consideration for us is having breakfast included and the Grand Hotel Praha did not disappoint. The selection and quality was excellent. It started our days off in the best way, We were concerned about being on the Old Town Square and the noise; however, it was not disruptive and actually added to our enjoyment of the city. We were put into a very small room for 2 people. The double bed was pushed up into the corner and one of us had to scoot down to the end of the bed to get out every time. It was very uncomfortable. We would describe it as anything but Double Deluxe....maybe 'single common room'. Our other complaint is more generic. Even though there is a lot to do and see, when we did have downtime, there was nothing to watch on tv in English that was not stock market and world news. There were no programs to enjoy even for a few minutes. Even if one does like following the stock market, this was too much.

Our family of 5 spent New Years with the wonderful staff at the Hotel Praha. Though I made my reservation via Bookings.com, I was in email communication with the hotel prior to our visit to work out some details and they were not only responsive but concerned for our well being. The room (Presidential Suite) was better than advertised with a wonderful view of the Clock. When we wanted to eat Chinese/Champagne in our room, the manager gladly provided plates and utensils and proper glasses for our celebration. Everything during this timeframe was expensive but the value was definitely there. Wonderful breakfast included. We will return. Can't think of anything we did not like though I did read other reviewers that were disappointed with their rooms. I can see how this might happen since this is an old hotel that uses old charming buildings on the square ... so some rooms have 'interior' views which are not as desirable. However, the location is fantastic. By the way, the reason we know this about other rooms is that we arrived at 6am. The staff were concerned for our comfort and gave us a back room (very nice) to use till our room was ready later in the day.

The location of this hotel can't be beat. We traveled in the off season, sp being directly on the square wasn't a problem, during the peak season noise from the square could be a consideration... There was nothing about the hotel that was an issue.

The hotel and its staff are very warm and friendly, the location is fantastic and the accommodations were as represented in the advertisement. The staff were extremely warm and friendly, most helpful and complemented the experience. The breakfast was quite enjoyable and the gourmet evening jazz concert that we attended was memorable. All in all, a delightful experience and a place that we would return to in a flash.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in! The rooms were beautiful and so traditional,it was in a perfect location we had a view of the astrological clock and the whole market square. We will never stay anywhere but here in all future trips 2 Prague! The staff were friendly, breakfast was great! Just can't praise it enough! Everything was perfect! No faults at all!!

Great location on old town square. The view from our room was fine. Bed was comfortable. Room facilities (drawer space, desk, tv) need attention, and lighting in our room was very poor, even after an extra light was provided. De Luxe was a major over-statement. Buffet breakfast was so-so, but, as with many aspects of the hotel, could have been greatly improved had the management been on the ball.

The location is terrific and the room was lovely and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet connection was slow and the coffee wasn't great but we enjoyed the hotel very much. And Prague is a very beautiful, lively place. We had good meals and great local fun in restuarants attached to the hotel - with discounts.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is perfectly situated right at the main old town square. Nice huge beds! No coffee making facilities. Very limited number of English channels on tv (only news channels)

The hotel is right in front of the astronomical clock. The free breakfast is very good and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions. They offer a discount card to a very good restaurant next door, underground, traditional menu. The bathroom was beautiful with large tub. Perfect room temperature. There is no elevator to our room so you have to take your bag up the stairs. Also, parking was 30 euro per day, but we knew this would be the case. All in all this was a great hotel and we would stay there again.

Great staff, especially the tall young man at the front desk who walked us out to the cab with our bags, found restaurants for us, etc. He was the best, but I don't know his name.

It is very centrally located. Right across from the astronomical clock tower, and right in the midst of where all is action is. The fact that the entrance to the reception is not on the ground floor and you have to carry your luggage to the 1st floor and then onwards to your room, is a bit inconvenient, if the concierge is not there.

Beautiful City and so much to see. Grand Praha Hotel was in a perfect location and our room was beautiful, large and very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends and will be back again.
