Hotel Excelsior

Locatia excelenta, aproape de statia principala de trenuri plus metrou. Se poate ajunge pe jos in centru in 10 minute.

Aveti grija de pozitia camerei in hotel. Cele de pe colturi (asa am nimerit eu) sunt foarte friguroase; deasemenea, asigurati-va ca baia are calorifer.

A very clean hotel, right next to central station (train and subway). Just value for money.

The lift was very late. I had to use the stairs many times. Wi-Fi in room was practically unavailable. Don't rely on the fact that you will have Wi-Fi internet access even at the lobby. I had to use the nearby internet cafe.

A good value hotel right next to the train station making it central for other day trips. Good places to eat close by as well. Free Breakfast, free internet and Free Minibar (Beer, Water, Juice, colas). I would stay there again.

The breakfast was good, and it is nice and close to the train station. It was clean, but very old.

It was loud, very loud. I was on level two and could not sleep because of machines running in the hotel, and traffic outside. The bathroom was outdated, and the smallest I have been in.

I liked the very central location of the hotel (near the train station at the city-centre). The breakfast was Ok, and value for money was also Ok.

The internet-access service sometimes didn't work.

Free facilities such as Mini Bar, WI - FI, Business centre, Tea/ coffee are grate for the value

Excellent location. The included breakfast buffet was very good. There is wireless internet in the room if you have your own laptop. If you don't, you can use the hotel computers in the business center. All internet usage is free! The mini bar drinks are free too. Great value for money.

The room was quite small but clean and comfortable. The hotel may not have luxuries but is ideal to be at the center of Frankfurt for short stays.

Location is fine, the whole system designed for an efficient check-in, check-out and stay. Free wlan and mini-bar and afternoon coffee-cake

Wlan was unreliable, but the neighbouring partner hotel's signal reached over. Rooms very small. Narrow single beds, which I hate. Queen size should be a standard also for single rooms.

Great location, literally across the street from the train station. Spacious room, free beverages in the minibar and the biggest, freshest breakfast buffet I've seen in Germany. There is a ''business center'' with six computers and a printer.that all guests can use for free. There are also free daily papers in the restaurant area. The Zeil shopping street, restored old town and musuem row on the other side of the Main river are all within about a 15 - 20 minute leisurely walk. There is also a tram station right in front of the hotel.

The hotel is situated across the street from the south side of the main train station. The street is heavily trafficed by tour buses, trams, cars and trucks. Although the street noise is greatly reduced at night, there is still some. If you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.

Central location, good breakfast variation.

Not being informed that our double room was a small double room next to hotel stairs was smaller than other double rooms, bed jammed against wall meaning access only from one side which was also tight against the bathroom door I think this should only be a single room as was amazed at how much space my friend had in his single room, considering that we were staying more than one night ( four nights in total ) thought that we would be given the normal double rooms that had the normal space

The additional facilities provided by the hotel are amazing. Very rare to see ironing, internet, mini bar and local calls free in a hotel.

International phone calls are very expensive. As a suggestion, the photo frame on top of bed needs to be fixed further up to avoid touching the head while sitting on the bed.
