No té gaires atractius turístics tret de la Catedral (impressionant!), el museu i la zona del riu, però és una ciutat acollidora i amable. És fácil moure-s'hi i hi ha molts blocs agradables on manjar o pendre cafè.

Recomanable passejar pel riu, creuar el pont a peu, visitar la catedral, la torre del triangle (per les vistes), i especialment conmovedor el El-De Haus per apassionats de la història. Molt accessible, caminant arribes a tots els llocs principals.

És una ciutat amb un casc antic molt bonic, destaca la catedral gòtica impressionant. El menjar típic de les Brauhaus boníssim i bé de preu. Hi ha molts carrers comercials i molta animació nocturna. Destaca pels seus museus. Vam visitar el Ludwig d'art modern amb obres importants de pop art i Picassos i l'edifici de la Gestapo reconvertit en museu del nazisme, molt interessant.

Habitació petita, però confortable i amb tot el necessari (sense luxes). Sistema de dobla porta, el qual et limitava pràcticament el soroll total de les habitacions veines i finestra amb Molt Bona insonorització. I un detall, per un hotel d’aquest nivell maravellós: cada dia una ampolla d’aigua de litre gratuïta. Sembla una tonteria però era molt ben rebuda. Apart de tenir nevera a la habitació, perfecte!

Per recollir les claus va ser ràpid mantenint el contacte amb l'amfitrió dient-li a quin hora arribaríem. Per tant, ja ens esperava quan vam arribar. També ens va explicar com anava tot i ens va donar un mapa turístics de Colònia i ens va dir alguns llocs per visitar.
