You should also definitely plan a visit to the former Hanseatic town of Warburg, only 11 km away, which impresses with its largely preserved city wall, its fortified towers and its medieval townscape. About 20 minutes away is the residential town of Bad Arolsen. Princess Emma zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, later Queen of the Netherlands, was born here.
