Location right in the middle of town and in a park, brilliant. The room was of nice size, both beds had space around them and their was enough room for a lounge chair and table. The restroom was also spacious.

Tartu is the second biggest city in Estonia, it has lots of places to visit, like museums, science centre, shopping centres, theatre, there are lots of walking to do, there are great local transport links in Tartu, there are plenty of hotels,B&Bs, plus apartments to stay in, most of the big shopping centres are in the city centre, there is also a free bus that takes you to one of the biggest shopping centres in Estonia, just on the outside of Tartu, that shopping centre is very big, and takes about two hours to walk round, it has a lot of different store, restaurants, etc there.
The local buses are also great to use,buy a tartu bus card, tap and go, or, buy tickets at Tartu bus Station, there are local buses, and city buses, there are lots of them, make sure to get a map, as it is a little difficult to know where to go/get off, if you do not know the area.
By the river, across the foot bridge from the city centre behind the market, you will find a nice beach area for summer, it is lovely there, and sandy, plus changing areas for everyone.

Fell in love with Tartu!
Fell in love with Tartu! An absolutely amazing city with a wide range of museums and activities, cosy and variable dining places, perfect for strolling and cycling around... So much to discover! I will surely return!
Try out the city museums, observation tower, printing history museums, science center, spa center, public transportation is easy to use and takes you all around town with an ease. Yet, one can also rent city bikes to move around 😀

Tartu is a beautiful student city to stay at.
Tartu is a beautiful student city to stay at. With the river running right through it it has everything you can wish for. It is busy enough to get whatever you want, but also to feel almost alone enjoying the lights around the river lights during the evening.
Also a lot of nature in a short drive away.
Hotel Tartu is a great hotel, right in the centre of Tartu, and has lovely staff, very helpful, and friendly.
it has nice lovely rooms, a great sauna centre that is free for hotel guests in the morning, and has a great breakfast in the hotel cafe in the mornings, plus the cafe is open during the day as well..
the hotel is across from the bus station, and short walk to all shopping centres, and river, and local beach over the river.
And having stayed here many times, it is a great hotel to stay in, and will stay here again!.
Lovely facilities with views over busy road but not noisy. Very central for bus station 5-10 min walk, and similar to the old town. Train station 20-30 min walk away.
Great breakfast at associated restaurant on first floor. Best breakfast coffee from a machine in travels in Estonia. Fresh and cooked fruit to go with porridge. Good selection of hot and cold food. Even pasta pre Tartu Marathon.
Can select to have a kettle, so able to make drinks as needed. Also can select if room cleaned rather than daily input.
Hotel Lydia has great location, clean rooms and the hotel's restaurant Hõlm is hands down the best restaurant in Tartu! I recommend to definitely visit the restaurant at night time, but be sure to book the visit ahead, because otherwise it might already be full. If you are into culinary, then you should also buy the cookbook written by Lydia Grünmann Holm in 1925-26 from the hotel or the restaurant. This book is where the restaurant actually gets its name – Hõlm.
I came with one of my friends to Estonia as an international student and Angelhouse was the first place we stayed at Tartu. The studio apartment we stayed in was very cosy, nice and had everything we needed. The place was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner Malle is a very nice and kindhearted person and we are very happy that we got to know her. Malle helped us a lot during our stay and we are really happy about our stay at Angelhouse.
Very kid and family friendly. Short walking distance from Ahhaa and Auru. Wonderful breakfast, wide spread of af choice even for pickiest eaters. 24h parking only for 5Eur additional fee. 1min walking distance to shopping center with food store and food courts Opposite the hotel there is a open air market. I suppose this hotel is also dog friendly as we saw costumers with small dogs.
Great location: it's right in the Old Town and on the "bar" street of Tartu. The breakfast was a big surprise for me in a good way. I thought it was just another breakfast buffet, but it's not. It felt it was like a lunch buffet. I believed the gelato made everyone happy, including me. The use of technology in the hotel worked like magic: super convenient.
We stayed in the hotel for the second time, and I still think this is the beat choice for staying in Tartu.
Excellent location: close to the bus station, AHHAA Centre, restaurants, shopping malls, and the river.
Also we appreciated the clean and spacious room, great breakfast with lots of food choices and polite reception staff.
Nice location in a very unique, beautiful and calm district of Tartu, only 15 minutes on foot from the city center (where I studied for 2 weeks). The flat is pretty and comfortable, self check-in and check-out were efficient. Good Wi-Fi. The price is really fair (about 34 € per night), so I would definitely come again.
The Appartement house is close to the Apperaaditehas. To the old town it's about 15min to walk. There is a direct busline to the Estonian national museum from Rii Street!
The room was ok for our short visit in Tartu. The shower was huge! :-)
Parking behind the building was good. The communication was precisely & timely.
Very good hotel with nice SPA water and sauna zone. Breakfast was so good with different meal - "Swedish table". Free parking possible on saturday and sunday near to hotel. Near the Hotel is walking street , on this street periodicaly is make small private marketing places with local - Estonia manufacturer production!
The hotel is located in a charming old town, right across from Tartu University. The hotel itself has a rich historical background, and each room has its unique character. The staff is incredibly helpful, smiling and polite, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is simply stunning!
It is very nice hotel. Room is clean and with big terrace. Shop is near and the city center of Tartu is near. Very good breakfast, there are all you need - simple but served it with chic. We will return if will be near Tartu. Thanks!
Nice and clean hotel. I really liked the restaurant, it had a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and the location is really good. Breakfast had a modest selection but it was tasty and coffee was strong.
The apartment is perfect in every regard, location, building, size, quality. etc. It is a new building in a very central part of Tartu, self check-in is ideal, gym is available.
Great location for historic town square of Tartu, and near Tartu University. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Estonia, and included with room rate.
