Being given a substandard room. It states that privilege rooms are in the corners but ours wasn'T. It was half the size, did not have a lounge area and the bathroom was small in comparison as well. How can this room be the same price? For a 25th wedding anniversary where I'd specifically asked for a good room it was very disappointing. I also cut my foot on a glass the maid had broken at turndown and not cleared up properly. There were 8 pieces of glass by the side of my bed. Spa pool was cold.

The hotel location is amazing .. it's located in La Rambla Street and it is very close to Placa Catalunya and 15 min walks to the port side. The rooms decoration is very classy. The staff were very helpful and freindly... This is a highly recommended... Pay extra money for two night and enjoy the luxury.

Room rates are quite expensive. The hotel lobby was a bit dark... some extra spot lights will add a very nice ambiance.

At this premium price, for two people you got only one tiny bottle of water a day...seems like you would at least get two...

Excellent roof top terrace with pool. Good spa facilities. Very friendly and knowledgable staff who were able to make good suggestions about where to eat. Location very central for exploring main sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was expensive at 24 euros so decided to go elswhere. Room was a bit too hot at night. But otherwise excellent facilities.

double beds pushed together were horrible - beds slid apart and were useless. room temperature could not be controlled -- sleep with balcony window open every night it was so hot in room.

The location was great, the hotel itself was spotless and extremely comfortable. The service was excellent and nothing too much trouble for the staff.

only complaint is that the cocktails at the bar were slightly expensive. You can accept that in a hotel of this standard however on a couple of occasions the glasses were only 2/3rds full which when you are paying money for was disappointing.

The ambience of the hotel was excellent; calm, luxurious and indulgent. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating.

A baby in a nearby room screamed on numerous occasions which disturbed the tranquility of the hotel. We appreciated this was not the fault of the hotel, although perhaps families with young children should be allocated a particular floor, away from couples and business travellers.

The Rambla are polluted by pickpockets and me and me wife were almost robbed in front of the hotel. But this obviously isn't the hotel's fault.

Brilliant and quirky, we are a couple in our twenties and loved the place!

The ONLY thing that was a problem was we seemed to be right next to a bell tower which seemed to chime all the time! It would chime the number of hours for the time and then start again! We bought ear plugs for the second night! Absolutely no fault of the hotel though. The hotel was perfect apart from this!

The location was ideal, right on Las Ramblas. Our dinner at the hotel restaurant the one night we stayed at the hotel was excellent. Rooms were big and comfortable and all ameneties that we could possibly need were provided. The staff was helpful, courteous, and efficient.

The little touches which they gave complimentary for my husband's birthday - made it more of a 5* experience. The spa and rooftop pool were enjoyable too.

Restaurant recommendations were for expensive restaurants and there are better.

The staff are very helpful. Had our history and requests on hand at arrival. The decor is lovely and the beds are comfy..the location is fantastic. The indoor and outdoor pools both well heated in 4deg winter day. Nice to see they now have kettles for tea/coffee in rooms.Free Wi fi good. Our flight was cancelled after checkout and staff were very helpful with last minute room checkin.Will stay here again

We had a superior room.. They are a little small for this level and shower is in the bath - but thats La Rambla.
