A small town in East Finland that has some good restaurants and local coffee shops but there is not much to do. The town is not touristic and there are not that many places to visit. However, the Botanical gardens are interesting and the Joensuu church is also worth visiting.

Majority of inhabitants in Joensuu goes around by bicycles. I did enjoyed going around by bike. So many nice places to visit. So many good restaurants. It is a good place to visit with a family or group of friends.

"family room" was indeed a small apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom :). In addition, there was a big common room with games, toys, books, big TV and sports facilities. Breakfast was included and we could also reserve a sauna in the evening.
