The staff was absolutely excellent, everyone of them! They even let me check in a little earlier which was great because I had a long travel day. The room was gorgeous and super clean. The shower was great as well as the soap, shampoo, ect. they provided. The location was perfect! I was able to walk to the hotel from the main train station easily, and also walk to many places of interest. I walked to Logomo to see a concert and felt absolutely safe walking back to the hotel by myself, as a solo female traveler. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying here again. I go to the beautiful country of Finland every year, it's a breath of fresh air! Oh, and the breakfast was excellent! And I'm a picky eater!
This hotel is located above Hansa Shopping Center on Yliopistonkatu pedestrian shopping street, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the Turku Train Station.

It was quiet, clean, conveniently situated and comfy.
The original capital of Finland, Turku is the country’s oldest city that features a bustling harbour, an array of museums and restaurants, and is renowned for being the cradle of Finnish culture.
During the summer Turku’s waterfronts come alive with boat bars and cafés, along with popular festivals such as Ruisrock Festival and Turku Music Festival, which are held in July and August respectively.
The city offers a number of entertainment options and landmarks such as the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art, Turku Cathedral and the medieval Turku Castle, which overlooks the harbour.
Tallink Silja Terminal and Viking Line Terminal offer regular ferry services to destinations such as Stockholm, Åland Islands and Moomin World Theme Park, located on the island of Kailo.
Check out the Booking.com website to choose from a selection of hostels, apartments and hotels in Turku, Naantali and throughout Finland.
Turku is a very nice smaller city in FInland. There are lots of intereting places to visit in the surrounding area, the river aura, the cathedral, the museum, the harbour, Ruisallo island, the botanical gardens. Also plenty of good places to eat.

We didn't get to see much of Turku, unfortunately.
We didn't get to see much of Turku, unfortunately. We stayed there as it was convenient for Naantali. However, there were a number of museums and galleries etc that I would have liked to have seen.

It is a good experience from spring until autumn.
It is a good experience from spring until autumn. In between everything is gloomer with less opportunities. At any time of year, you should not expect that most people will meet your eyes nor smile. Nature is nice and during the summer there are possibilities visiting archipelago. If you are in the downtown, don't forget to visit over 100 year old Turku market hall, where you can have a great lunch and feel the local vibe. There are also plenty of unique nature walks around the sea or forests close b

Ate a couple of times at Timbuktu. Very nice African restaurant.
Public transport is cheap, on-time and convenient. It is 3 euros for two hours on any bus line.
The city doesn't sleep in summer time. Firsthand experience!

Just a lovely city with plenty of attractions to visit, naval history, medieval castle, lovely parks, plenty of choice regarding eating out (recommend Panimoravintola Koulu; Lone Star (burgers, fries)), easy to get around by walking, bike and/or scooter. Great base for exploring the islands of the Turku Archipelago. Must see attractions include Luostarimaki open air history quarter, walking or running along the Aura river, Turku medieval castle at Linnanpuisto park, Ispoinen beach and Sauna; various historical sailing ships along the Aura.

I went to Turku for Knotfest, so I didn't have enough time to see all the views. But, since I've been to Turku many times, I can tell you that it is an excellent place to visit with many sights to see, and not overly touristy. I recommend seeing Turun Linna (Turku castle), the River Aura, the old wooden neighborhoods, and the Turku cathedral.
If you are traveling on a budget, the public transport system works well, unless you use it after midnight when music festivals have just finished, such as Knotfest. In that case, be prepared to get ditched by bus drivers. For cheap food, you can download the ResQ app to buy cheap lunches from restaurants and help reduce food waste in the process. Rooms were clean and of decent size. Beds were comfortable and sizeable.
Our two rooms were next to each other even though we had not asked for it, very good!
A lot to choose from at breakfast (mostly). Good selection of fruits and vegetables!
Good location fairly close to bus stops and a good variety to restaurants and the river promenade.
Hotel is located on top of a supermarket for easy access of an evening snack.
Parking garage below the hotel with easy access by lift.
WiFi worked flawlessly.
Hotel Kakola is a converted prison so it has a very interesting aesthetic. Our room was spacious, with a huge bathtub and a balcony. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The pizza served in the restaurant is very good. Breakfast had lots of interesting choices, something for everyone. The hotel spa had a fantastic saunas and pools, but it is extra, not included. We’ve been traveling all over Scandinavia for five weeks and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in.
Excellent location, just stroll down 400 meters along Aninkaistenkatu to the river Aura and visit the cathedral to the left or Aboa Vetus Ars Nova on the right, and everything the Turku riverfront has to offer.
The host was very helpful and responsive and the apartment was lovely for a family stay, the hanging chair was a big hit with our daughter. No noise from Aninkaistenkatu was audible.
This boutique hotel is gorgeous with a beautiful design everywhere. Every single detail in the rooms is well thought-through. The price we paid for our room (95euro) was excellent. The free parking was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice rooftop terrace and lobby area. Really comfortable beds! Breakfast staff and the housekeeping team were really helpful and polite. Good location, just a 20-minute walk from the center of Turku and easy to catch a bus in front of the hotel.
I booked the place last minute on arrival to Turku because my employer mocked up my original hotel booking and I had no where to stay that night. I was stuck. So the fact I was able to get a room on such short notice was great.
Hotel is rather clean and very good situated for the purpose of our travel in Turku. There are three place for eat on the territory. Pretty easy to reach any necessary locations at Turku from the hotel place.
Great location outside of Turku, but still easily in reach of downtown. Very nice view from seaside room. Staff in hotel & restaurant were very nice, and helpful. A la carte food was good.
The apartment was terrific for my family of 5, and we loved the sauna. The facilities, including the aqua park, were fantastic, and the breakfast was well worth the price.
Beautiful central location within easy walking distance of major sites! Hotel is lovely with comfortable rooms, great parking space and excellent delicious breakfast!
everything was fine. Hotel is well located and rooms are ok. They are simple but fine.
Parking is very good and for reasonable price.
Breakfast was fine.
