I was very badly surprised by the room I was allocated in (room 101). The ceiling was unfinished and there were stickers on the air conditioning's vent. There was not enough light in the room simply because there were no lights in the ceiling. The breakfast table is by the reception desk which is also quite awkward and uncomfortable.
Located in Saint-Ouen, just outside of the centre of Paris, Café Hôtel de L’Avenir offers free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Location is perfect. Metro Line 13 literally across the street. Antique markets 10mins away. Bike rental station across the road. Great way exploring the city. Our room had a balcony which was lovely. View onto sacre coeur Basilica. The room is massive for parisian standards.

Saint Ouen is a good location to stay. We took Garibaldi metro, line 13, to go to the city center. Walking to metro took us max 5 min. There are two boulangeries next to the metro station, where you can have breakfast with coffee and sit inside.
Buying a metro card was a challenge, even for locals, who tried to help us. We used a machine to get 10 tickets, instead we got one small ticket saying that it is not a ticket and needs to be exchanged for a carnet.
Exchanged means to go to a real person working in a metro station. They do not work at night. My advice is to buy passes during a day to be sure to get them. Carnet of 10 tickets is actually one card, which can be used only by one person.

I chose Saint-Ouen for the price, knowing it is a poor and ugly part of the suburbs but if you have money, avoid it, it corresponds to a sketch by Rodney Dangerfield "i live in a very bad neighborhood, yesterday a guy asked me where the subway station was, I told him no one has ever stayed alive long enough to reach it"!

Location is a bit far from the city center where all the main attractions are located but if you planned a day trip out, it works. The area has good choices of restaurants and bakeries. A couple of supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment.

Saint-Ouen has a nice antique market, but also a lot of homeless people and people who are selling rubbish. Also when it's dark, you are not feeling very comfortable. It's not a very good neighborhood.

Very friendly and kind staff.
Very friendly and kind staff. They offered to hold my crying baby so I could finish my breakfast. Breakfast was very good and Everything was very clean. However the room was not so clean. Stained curtains and not so clean floor.
Also no space for parking and the nearby parkings were very expensive 2,80 for every hour!

We went to Saint-Ouen to visit the Puces.
We went to Saint-Ouen to visit the Puces. Since we are selling vintage and antiques in Belgium (@finds - vintage and more) we were hoping to score some nice stuff which we could re-sell in Belgium but this was not applicable at all! The prices were WAY too high for everything. We came home empty handed. It was an experience to visit the Puces but don't go there if you're hoping to buy cheap stuff. The city is also dirty and the Puces themselves were really chaotic and in some areas we had a bad feeling walking around. I had imagined it as a nice place to walk around but it felt you were in the suburbs. We stayed 2 days (one night) and the second day we went to visit a part of Paris and walked till there by foot? The Puces are for example half an hour walk from the Sacre Coeur. All and all it was ok for once and one day but we're probably not going back.
stranded in Paris due to Eurostar issues but this little oasis helped remove all stress and meant actually didn’t want to leave! Staff were lovely, beds super comfortable, relaxing pool area, delicious cocktails, clean gym, lovely smell, tasty nuts (!)…nothing at all to complain about. Ate at MOB hotel nearby, also recommend. Area is interesting when the market is on (Sat-Mon) though not a lot happening the rest of the time (not an issue for me!) and walkable to Sacre Coeur (~30mins)/ easy enough to get central.
The breakfast was awesome. Room was spacious with big bathroom and toilet. All facilities related to family was there in the room. Room cleaning was good. You walk 6 min and you are at Garibaldi metro station. Supermarket and dominos pizza are just behind your hotel. Silent and safe area for family stay as I heard from all my freinds that there are many pickpockets cases in Paris. Staff was helpful.
The area is like the Brooklyn of Paris. Just a few stops away from the center by subway, but much less crowded. It is working class, multi-ethnic area in the early stages of gentrification. Very boho chic in a very good way.
The hotel itself is very comfortable. The rooms are big for Paris and the hotel has an awesome pool and great gym. Restaurant and bar are lively and the staff were all great.
We were looking for a location in this area to visit Alstom nearby. It is a nice newly built area where there are families with kids and the atmosphere is relaxing and cosy. The place was easy to find and accessibleNothing special and the room not so big for the price we have paid, but in line with other structures in the vicinity. Paris is expensive!
Great location to the Puces de Saint Ouen which was the main purpose for our visit to Paris. Metro was a short walk away, as well as as a few groecery shops and delicious patisseries. The flat was comfortable, quiet, and stocked with everything needed for a long or short stay.
The hotel was value for money. Had all the necessary things we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We did not book the buffet, however, the staff was able to accommodate and make some fresh croissant and also did not charge for the kid.
The location was really good. You could easily reach different tourist spots in Paris. It was also quite clean, no sign of bedbugs or any other insects which is apparently a big deal in Paris. Price was also relatively affordable.
The apartment is brand new and easy to access from RAR C station Saint-Ouen (15 mins on foot or 2 stops by bus). There is E. Leclerc next to the station so shopping is easy. The extra (sofa) bed is new and very comfortable.
The location is 7 minutes far from the 13th Metro line that is connected to the centre of Paris. The stuff is friendly, and the room is air conditioned. The hotel is new, so the premises is in a good shape.
It was so close to the Metro, making trips in and out of Central Paris easy. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome as a solo traveller. The room was lovely, exactly what I needed. Thank you all!
The location was perfect. Within walking distance of the metro which linked to everywhere you needed to go in Paris. Room size, cleanliness and amenities were really good as well. Host was very helpful
Very clean hotel with adequate facilities. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located to a metro station for direct access to the centre of Paris.
The hotel is close to the metro station, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the whole building has a Parisian vibe that tourists are looking for
