Staff were friendly including the cleaners, the pool was an added bonus. There was also a sauna, Jacuzzi and gym equipment.
The room was comfortable with a small balcony also a fridge.
Breakfast was good.

Great location, about 10-15 mins walk to beach and very close to the old town center with should etc. Perfect for families, quiet, private yard + huge shared outdoor spaces to play (with chickens!). Cathy and Jean-Luc were great hosts.

Cathy and Jean-Luc were lovely people, friendly and welcoming. I dropped a credit card in the driveway on arrival and it was picked up by a young lady staff member who retuned it to me, thank you very much for that. It would have been very pleasant to spend more time here and get to know the people here better.

It is a good location with supermarkets, a covid test to go station and history. William the Conqueror (of Normandie) set off for England locally. There is a long sandy beach at Houlgate by the river Dives Estuary. There is a long sandy beach if you walk over the bridge( river Dives) and through Cabourg town centre starting about one mile to the east of the Casino esplanade and stretching over a mile west.There is probably a footpath from the west side of the bridge along the grassy riverbank to the start of Cabourg esplanade. This has not been walked. I have used a hire car or a bus plus walk to reach this beach with excellent facilities in the summer plus lifeguards. I like the Boucherie, Biscuiterie Creperie, and Boulangerie in a little shopping complex mainly for tourists with free car parking just over the river Dives bridge in Cabourg nd

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The car park had plenty of spaces and despite being open it was secure at night with the gate closed and is obscured from the adjacent footpath by a hedgerow- so we felt comfortable parking our classic cars there during our roadtrip. The Breakfast was very good with a nice range of options. The location is great- we walked along the footpath beside the water to Port Guillaume for dinner.StephenIreland

There's a lovely restaurant that our host recommended and we did not regret. It is also a short drive from the promenade on the sea side. The room was comfortable, with massive windows overlooking the luscious garden and a lot of light. We had bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom of an impressive size. The host was brilliant, very welcoming and sweet. He served us personally at breakfast bringing delightful bites.

Good breakfast with bread, baguette, croissants and homemade goodies. Enjoyed our overnight stay very much. Convenient for us was the possibility to park the car in the enclosed garden.
