Very conveniently located to the motorway, lovely setting with modern, unique apartments and great eating area right in the middle of a working champagne farm. Will certainly return!
Fantastic location and very welcoming people. Lovely rooms and very comfy beds. Really lovely bathroom too.
Online it said it was the last room... I was the only guest...rather spooky... nobody around when I first arrived and I was about to leave when Madame arrived. I didn't realise there was no eating facilities at all - I had driven over 1000k from Nice so hungry and tired ? She just gave me the key and asked me if I wanted breakfast - at 6.30pm. I was rather shocked. I certainly was not going to start pottering around local area looking for somewhere- I just wanted to crash with a glass of wine and an omelette/salad..is that too much to ask ? My room was the disabled room on the ground floor...pretty view looking towards the church. Bit chilly. I wouldn't recommend it to a lone traveller. Probably ok for families in the summer. I want a bit more for my money than just the room key.
Breakfast was very good. We forgot a shoe in our room and they were kind enough to forward it to our next location at no charge. We found everyone to be very accommodating and give them our highest recommendation!
Each room is different and all lovely. The owners and staff are all very welcoming.
It is not far from the major routes, and is in a quiet location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We needed to leave early, and we were provided with a very good breakfast before the normal serving time.
The location is ideal - not far from Reims and close to the motorway. Situated within the yard of the champagne manufacturers but with its own grounds, it provides a very unique experience. Breakfast facilities excellent.
Our room was cramped and the stairs up to the mezzanine, where there were additional single beds, were at head height over the bed - a problem for anyone tall if getting up during the night.
Beautiful view out of the back door and patio of the vineyards. Lots of room, impeccable room, great breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the site makes champagne and it is interesting to see it in operation. The facility looks like it was recently remodeled. Great find.
The property is not in town and there is a short drive to any attraction or restaurant. There are small inconveniences compared to the experience.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and decor quirky. Lovely views over the vineyards. Very convenient for the motorway. We love this hotel and will continue to use it as a stop off.
No restaurants nearby but we've had excellent meals at ' Le Petit Comptoir' in Rheims. However taxis are expensive.
We stayed in a lovely spacious family room (for 5). We had a great nights sleep, the staff were very accommodating and the children enjoyed running around in the field and petting the horses in the morning. Would definitely recommend to others.
What a wonderful surprise to stay on a working champagne house where everything was perfect, owner wonderfully hospitable and accommodating and room delightful. Loved it all
Wonderful location - great views of the vineyard . Peaceful and comfortable surroundings. Close to motorway and to Reims.
Nowhere to eat locally we were directed in to Reims for dinner .
Great tour of the winery, I'm a winemaker by trade, much better information on the region and tasting of the range of wines than the generic large house tours.
The location was terrific, next to a champagne factory and overlooking their vineyard. Staff were welcoming and pleasant, room was rustic and comfortable. After a long day we arranged our own food and had a great picnic on our terrace overlooking the vines and church, together with a bottle of their excellent champagne - wonderful!
Apparently no decent restaurants nearby, hence the picnic.
Great views of monastery and fields. Peaceful location handy for Reims. Good room with clean linens. Friendly staff.
Difficult to find anyone to check in. Rooms not very luxurious given price. Minor points - overall great.
beautiful setting at an old farm house. You can wander around the vine yard just next door. We consumed a bottled water at fridge and forgot to pay. I then sent email to the hotel manager and telling her we are driving back to settle the sum. The manager was very kind to say she considered the bottled water complementary.
The owner was so helpful and the accommodation was perfect.. The views were amazing would definitely go back.
Very convenient location, just off the autoroute, which is what we wanted as a stop over on our way to Germany and Italy. Peaceful surroundings and pleasant enough people, but could do with a bit more ‘verve’, as the place has a lot of potential for more than just an incidental stopping place in the Champagne region.
The breakfast was pretty minimal and not particularly inspiring, even for continental standards.
spacious modern rooms in an old building which has been renovated. Only downside is no food on site except for breakfast so we had to travel for tea. Reims was however lovely so glad we were made to travel in
No food or bar in site
Absolutely everything. The place is lovely and the staff amazing. Great breakfast too and only just under 3 hours from Ferry.
Having to leave.
It's beautiful setting and well preserved old structures of the farm house. They also care to make a tiny display gallery at ground floor to show the farm equipment used decades before. That made the hotel very unique.
Great room, fabulous bathroom, nice beds and linen, very quiet location just off the motorway. We enjoyed a glass of the house champagne when the kids were tucked up in bed in the loft room upstairs! This was the perfect way to finish off our trip.
Excellent location near a beautiful quiet village, and overlooking a vineyard. Superb! And the hosts were wonderful, so would return again if chance would have it.
Location, degustation of champagne as it is on the site of a vineyard
