The room was ideal for a disabled guest, or in our case walking difficulties.
Breakfast is really good. We have stayed three times recently (hospital visits) and encountered three staff members, who were delightful - a big thank you to them for their care.

Hotel de la Gare was very welcoming and I was amused by the offer of a welcome drink - in my case, cider. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were good.

Helpful staff at the Tourist Office; several museums (Musee des Beaux-Arts), some town walks with information boards on the way. Much of the centre is pedestrianised. Plenty of good food (not only crepes, but a large variety of those.) Worth going beyond just the tourist areas (the Cathedral & the Market) for better value & variety. (We liked the Messidor Boulangerie for coffee & croissants.)

The apartment was in Locmaria district a quirky neighbourhood with its own character and nightlife just a 15 minute stroll into the centre where we ate decent French cuisine and also ate well at Mama Thai as the name suggests it was was Thai food but of the highest order

Attractive historic town with great museums and galleries, cathedral, river walks and gardens but not too touristy (in June 2022). Close to other lovely towns eg Concarneau and Pont Aven plus routes to coastal scenery.

I did not want to visit big cities in France during the pandemic.
The city is small but has enough attractions.
Since the transportation is well connected, I used the city as a base to explore several places in Finistère.

Quimper is a very central medium size French city.
Quimper is a very central medium size French city. It does have medieval buildings, but it is very much a working city and somewhat gritty. It is not completely dedicated to tourists, which is good and bad. It felt very authentic, but some parts felt less then safe, secure. The best, prettiest area is the main square around the church. The main tourist area is tiny, but nicely pedestrianized. Also the museum of Breton heritage is well-worth a couple hours. Beyond that, not much too see, but Quimper is a great base for the surrounding region.
We had a very friendly and informative welcome by the owner, good communication prior to arrival. Appartement larger than expected, well equipped and a superbe location in the historique center of Quimper, there is a view of the cathedral, magical at night. Lots of good restaurants nearby, there is a creperie just below the appartement. AN EXCELLENT place to spend a few nights, unfortunately we spent only one night, lots of interesting places by the sea or inland to visit, Quimper is a very agreable town.
This is an upscale boutique hotel, tucked away near the Henriot faience pottery showroom with exceptional pieces of art, light-filled, spacious rooms (we had a junior suite), and comfortable beds and linens. The breakfast buffet is above average and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our request that the one large bed be split into two twins. The sofa and coffee table were welcome additions too our room. We were grateful for the private parking lot and quiet location.
The location of the hotel is a short walk from the centre of Quimper.
The room was cleaned every day and fresh sheets and pillow cases were supplied most days which was appreciated as the temperatures were hot.
The breakfast was very good and plenty of choice.
The car was in a locked garage just round the corner from the hotel.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I applaud the hotel’s efforts to be energy conscious and to avoid waste. It was nice to have flat and sparkling water on tap. The hotel is easy walking distance to the cathedral and museums. Good wifi. I would definitely stay here again.
The property is in a lovely location in Quimper and only an easy 15 minute walk along the river to the centre.
The property is a lovely house with a garden at the front and the hostess is so welcoming.
The interior is fabulous and welcoming. The bedroom is beautiful and Emmanuelle provides the most amazing breakfast
Appartement spacieux indeed! A wonderful apartment near the centre of Quimper. Looks just like the photos. Decoration is beautiful, but also practical and so you feel comfortable being there. The kitchen is fully equipped, there's on-street (free) parking and a washing machine too.
This was by far the best accommodation, I have ever booked and I can give only top ratings. The appartment was very spacious, stylishly furnished, had extremely comfortable beds and was very very clean.
The center of Quimper was just a few minutes walk away.
The food in the hotel was very good but you have to choose the night before. We didn't have the breakfast. They seemed a little short on staff. There was an extremely helpful young man who run the bar!! Really lovely grounds.
overall hotel was OK, but a little tired and old fashioned. Location was excellent, rooms were good, parking was on street and sometimes a walk away. Did not use bar or restaurant so can't comment, but bar appeared to be shut.
It was very cozy, clean, and cute. I appreciated the host’s hospitality and quick response time. I had everything I needed there, it was plenty of space to relax while visiting Quimper!
Very enjoyable stay in this very comfortable and nicely decorated flat right at the heart of Quimper’s pedestrian area. Very nice and responsive owner. I thoroughly recommend!
This great value hotel is located right across from the station and a short walk to the historic centre. Simple, yet well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff!
