The village was so quaint. The house is very old but redone. If you have a small car you can park on the first floor in the garage. There is a bakery less than five min walk. It was a quiet and peaceful location.

Everything was perfect - from the delicious breakfast to the comfortable bed. The hotel room furniture little bit old but it’s okay. The hotel offers convenient car parking right in front. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Strasbourg and Colmar, as this hotel conveniently situated between both cities.

The hotel was beautiful and charming, and the food was great. The room had everything we needed and the building has so much character. It was lovely sitting on the curbside cafe section they had and watching the people of the town go by.

Hotel Manoir is my favorite type of European hotel, an old villa that has been renovated enough to be comfortable while still retaining its charm with decor to match. The corner room was lovely, with nice airflow through both windows and a view of the rooftops and vineyards beyond. The room was quite spacious, with nice cozy lighting, a table and chairs and a desk as well. The bathroom was also a decent size. I had requested a room with one double bed, and while this was no longer available on arrival ( I had booked last minute) the front desk was happy to accomodate my request for a bathtub instead. The tub was large with a nice window as well. There are self service drinks available for a very affordable fee near the front desk. While I did not participate in the breakfast, it looked amazing and the breakfast room itself is very charming. Overall it was the perfect little weekend escape and I would definitely return.

Le Vignon restaurant, next to the tourist information, serves excellent French food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and we spent our first and last evening's there, both were memorable.
The oldpart of the town is set within a stone wall with several arched gateways. There is an Abbey on the hill behind the town and a short walk through the vineyards gives you great views of the surrounds. The bar is next to the church and Friday evening was especially busy. There is also a greengrocer in town and a mobile market serving a variety of fresh foods.
The nearest big supermarket is at Selestat, an easy 10 minute drive. You can park n ride to Strasbourg in under an hour.
