A great hotel located in a charming location just on the river.
At first we were a bit afraid for the potential noise of the water during the night (I am a light sleeper), but the room had an exceptional soundproofing.
The city center is at 5 minutes walk, so it is possible just to leave the car in public parking nearby and enjoy your visit by walking.
The room was really spacious and decorated with taste. The bathroom was also really spacious.
All in all, we really did enjoy our stay at this hotel.

My reason to choose CHAUSSIN:
- travelled "EUROBIKE NO.6" by bike from Besançon to Chalon-sur-Saône.
- instead to follow the recommended track from DÔLE to VERDUN, I choose the famous "BRASSE JURASIENNE", an acient 8km long railway track, now well prepared for bikers, which brings you straight into Chaussin.
