Offering some of the most spectacular views in Gorran Haven, this historic coastguard cottage is 3 minutes' walk from the beach, with parking for two cars and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people in two king-size beds, or one king and two small singles. Located directly on the South West Coastal Path, the property is close to the heart of Gorran Haven village, its beach and quay. Here you'll find a friendly village shop, a tented al fresco bar, fish & chip shop and beachside café. On the ground floor you'll find a light-filled open-plan living room with log burner and two large sash windows looking over the front garden and surrounding coastline. The kitchen is well equipped with a Stoves range cooker and dining space for six. Off the kitchen is a wet room and cloakroom – perfect for sandy bodies just off the beach. From the sitting area, stairs take you to the first floor and the front bedroom, with king sized bed and stunning sea views, and a smaller bedroom with garden views which can be set up with a king-size bed or two small (2ft 6inch) singles. This room has blackout curtains and can accommodate a travel cot. There's also a room off the master bedroom that has a small workspace and that can be used for a travel cot (though, if your baby is a light sleeper, please note you need to walk through the room to get to the bedroom, and this room does not have blackout curtains, though you're welcome to put up travel black outs). The first floor also has a bathroom with freestanding bath. To the front of the property you’ll find a sun terrace with a small table and chairs and more glorious views. There is a small lawned area in front of the terrace. While dogs are welcome at the property, please note the garden is not enclosed. 2a Coastguard Cottages has parking for two cars - a rarity in the village centre.
