Two Rivers is situated in the pretty estuary town of Appledore. Newly built and just furnished, it is stylish, well appointed, there is a garden and balcony to sit out in and a light-filled open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area with the most breath-taking views of the estuary and out to sea. Two Rivers is an upside-down house with the living area upstairs to take full advantage of the incredible view, and four very comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite) downstairs. It is open-plan living upstairs that is light, airy and sunny with a balcony looking out to the estuary (the house is named Two Rivers because the view is of where the River Torridge meets the River Taw). The kitchen has everything you should need and there are two ovens (the top oven is also a microwave) and a decent sized fridge and freezer. The stove top is induction. There is a large sofa and comfy seats for sitting and enjoying the view - watch the boats sail by or snuggle up with a book. There are two TVs of a good size (one in the lounge and one in the main bedroom). There is also a library of books and a good selection of games. It’s a warm house with underfloor heating upstairs. There is a seating area outside, a small area of lawn and decking with a good-sized BBQ. There is one parking space right outside the house, and ample additional parking close to the house. The house is risen above the surrounding houses so there are quite a few steps to access this property, so it wouldn’t be suitable for people with mobility difficulties. Please note: the house is in a quiet neighbourhood and so the letting is intended for families. Families only please, no large groups. If in doubt please contact me to ask first.
