Between the River Thames and Trafalgar Square, this beautiful 5-star hotel has a luxurious mix of history and modern style. It has a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, a gym and river views.
Score from 1179 reviews Fabulous
Very steep & narrow spiral stairs to upstairs bedrooms. No toilet upstairs. Poorly finished unit.
very nice location , close to 2 tube stations and one train station , within walking distance to several London attractions many shops and restaurants close by .
The hotel is located very conveniently as it is yards away from Charing Cross tube station.
The room was rather small for the money we've paid (and I do keep in mind a Central London location). There was only one tiny pillow and thin blanket per person on the bed, which made our night sleep quite uncomfortable. WiFi reception was poor (bearing in mind we used only 2 devices out of 4 claimed being capable of being connected at the same time)
The facilities in the apartment, the location and friendly and professional staff always willing to pass on information on London.
Dust, dust and more dust blowing out from under the bed each time we opened the window causing us to sneeze. Housekeeping not up to scratch.
Room was shabby, nothing like pictures, crampt lounge area, poor seating. Pubic hair all over the sofa bed. Awkward stairs, only one toilet.
Wonderful location and facilities. Nice size rooms and there was a bath which is a bonus for me.
The staff did not inform me that our airport ride had arrived an hour earlier and we were in the lounge next to them on the ground floor. It took them 15 mins to locate 2 of my bags
Excellent location. Nice rooms, comfy beds. I have stayed at the hotel ome time earlier, and came back because of these three factors.
Had to pay extra for breakfast.
We liked everything about the hotel apartment, it was fantastic, close to absolutely everything. It is so close to Trafalgar Square. We paid more for a absolute dump in aberdeen and couldn't believe the quality of what we received at Citadines.
this time around the staff were very friendly and helpful. the 6th floor room was very nice and comfortable.
the price of the room for 3 nights, 564.00 pounds was quite steep even for the location.
Location was perfect. Close to everything.
Poor water pressure. Found out on check out that they can adjust this. It would have been nice to have known this at the start.
The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of the action. Clean and quiet.
The WiFi seemed flaky and slow but that's not what a holiday is about, so put it into perspective. Would be good to improve it though.
Location is fantastic, everything we needed was a short stroll away. Plenty of tube stops, restaurants and coffee shops nearby and only a minute walk from the Thames and Trafalgar Sq.
No porta cot in room even after we specially requested it prior to our arrival. Then when cot was brought to room it was broken so couldn't be used. We called for another cot but no cot arrived that first night even after going to the lobby to ask again. Eventually got a cot the next day after different staff arrived.
Location. Also the room was clean and tidy.
No drawers n the room! The lighting was quite poor and the decor gloomy. The TV was very small. None of that spoiled our visit.
Read reviews by other people, most of them being bad. However I can't say one bad word about the hotel. The chocolates and wine was a lovely touch upon our arrival too. Location is spot on.
The location is excellent for sightseeing, shopping, and eating out. The kitchen facility was clean and convenient even for short stay.
Wifi connection was not good.
Hotel was in a great location for seeing the sites. We originally booked a one bed apartment for my wife and I am my parents but on arrival were offered 2 studio apartments on the same floor. These worked out well for us.
The WiFi was not easy to use, too many to choose from and none of them worked on a number of our devices. This is only a small problem for us everything else was great.
Location close to Trafalgar Square is excellent.
When booking a double room, I would expect the mattress to also be a double. Instead, we had two single mattresses pressed together without even so much as a comforter/matress protector to soften the ridge between. When we mentioned this to reception upon check out the following morning, it was intimated that this wasn't supposed to be the case but no apologies offered, let alone a discount.
Location is brilliant, great place to stay if your business etc is in central London. Expensive but to be expected given all the pluses. Our 3rd stay, as well as Paris & Munich. Will continue to stay with Citadines when possible.
Very poor lighting in all rooms except toilet. Not much by way of pots & pans. Makes takeaways look good.
Friendly staff and polite. Comfortable accommodation. Easy access to all the sites.
For two people in the room the tea/coffee/milk provision was limited. When you stay for one night you need more than two tea bags! It is nice to have a drink when you arrive and enough for an early morning cuppa at least. Complimentary biscuits would be nice too!
Perfect location if you are visiting central London. It's a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square and within easy walking distance of Westminster, the South Bank and Covent Garden and lots more. It's very close to buses, underground and rail (Charing Cross). The full kitchen in the suites means it's the perfect choice for families with small children. Refurbished since my last stay (in 2003), the suite was very modern and comfortable.
There's no ramp for luggage or wheelchair access at the front, because it's in a listed building. You have to go inside to ask for a temporary ramp.
Location was great, handy for all central activities Clean and tidy Had enough to function as a kitchen if wanted to grab breakfast and lunch in the room Got a good deal on price but if had paid the full published price would have been disappointed by the facilities.
Quite basic kitchen facilities, only one of everything so had to run dishwasher more often or rinse things (no washing up liquid provided) Could do with basics like salt, pepper, oil. Would have been nice to have a sofa or two comfy chairs (only 1 provided)
free coffee in reception area well stocked kitchen with dish washer tablets, washing up liquid, t-towel, bottle of water in fridge, plenty of towels in bathroom, sofa bed was two separate beds very comfy
nothing it was perfect!!
Great Breakfast Very clean Superb location
Rooms lacked character Bath mat dangerous when stepping in or out of the shower If 4 staying in the room then there was no where to sit Few pictures on the walls would have been nice
