Friendly recepton staff security (had to use room card for the lift and to get in and out.) Room facilities Safe modern feel free beverages in the lobby excellent location.
Stayed at Citadines Trafalgar in 2000 and this updated version is so much better. Staff in particular very friendly and most helpful. Bed was brilliant and room very quiet making for a good nights sleep.
Signage on laundry machines needed to say push knob in to start machine.
Excelent location. Very good care of all people reception.
The hotel not have rooms with shower. I'ts a drawback for seniors.
Location is perfect. Next to Trafalgar Square, supermarkets and tube station. Lovely room, quiet, clean and good facilities.
Shower was so bad with low pressure but this was the only fault. Everything else was perfect and I'd definitely recommend this hotel
Loved the location, the great kitchen facilities, the good sized bed, pleasant décor, well organized layout, pleasant, helpful staff, proximity to lifts.
Nothing really, just remember to do wakeup calls!
LOCATION... This is a fantastic location within easy walking distance of many of London's attractions. And if you don't want to walk, it is only a very short stroll to Charing Cross station and many bus routes. The apartment is ideal with good facilities, and the coffee available all day in the foyer is very good. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
Breakfast was a bit expensive, but with this place you can buy your own provisions nearby.
Space and comfort
A little noisy, perhaps windows could be better insulated.Room temperature control didn't appear to work.
Everything and felt luxury to be there
Location tea and coffee available 24 hours
lighting is too dark, can't read at all in the night. Some staff are very helpful and friendly some are very poor. Bed is too soft. Pillow is too old.
Loved citadenes, close to the tube, buses including hop on hop off. Walking distance to almost everything, Trafalgar Square is only a few hundred metres away.
It's basically in the middle of the tourists spots, near the station, and there is a mini market near.
Doesn't look as nice as the photos the posted.
I loved the location - close to everywhere, including my favourite place which is the National Gallery - just a stone's throw away! Staff were kind and listening. On the day of arrival the fridge did not work in my room. I called the reception, and 15 minutes later they brought up a new fridge and took away the old one. I forgot my toothbrush from home, they gave me a new one. The little kichenette is well equipped - there is everything you need + an iron, etc. A very good place to stay!
There is not much space in the room; on pictures at the booking.com it looks much larger and lighter. The window is actually small, and our room gave to the gloomy backyard, therefore it was not very bright.
Location was great just a few mins walk from the tube, staff were friendly, decor was lovely and it was nice to have the added security of key card access to get your floor only. Complimentary beverages in reception/lobby area are a great touch and was fantastic to be able to stay in a hotel and have nothing negative to say!
Having to leave! :)
noisy refrigerator, noisy heater, noisy elevators, no sheets on bed, room not set properly at check in
This hotel is very central to everything which made travelling around by foot or train very easy. The bed was fabulous and the temperature inside great. Would definitely stay there again.
Nothing much. If any, would be its proximity to Waterstone the bookstore.
The room we had was on the 1/F. It was dark and noisy (there were works going on at 8ish every morning at the back lane right under our window). Lighting of the room was poor. TV screens and bathroom could not be smaller (in fact the TV in the bedroom did not even work and we had to request a fix . Shower curtain needs replacement (full of stains). Door panels were cracked and flooring looked old and dirty especially at the entrance of the room. By the way, service was impersonal - doesn't make you feel you are a hotel guest. "If you are not happy with your room, speak to our manager" was what I got after indicating my discontent with the room. Terrible experience. Considering the rate which I paid was relatively high in August, am very disappointed with the choice. Thistle Leiscester Square where I stayed last year was cheaper and much better in terms of quality and service, not to mention the location.
The position, within London was very central be it for buisness or leisure. The parking facility's are a bonus with a reasonable price for secure parking.
Secondary windows are very draughty & allow a lot of road noise in.
perfect location price was good for London
Uncomfortable pillows. Cramped bathroom.
In general very good
Just the wifi it was really
Everything was almost excellent, staff, comfort, location, security, breakfast, assistant at all times, cleanliness ...etc Except few non too important things like below.
The TV screen was too small. The WIFI internet was too slow. The pillows were not too comfortable but just ok.
Awesome location - walking distance to main attractions and the tube station Clean rooms - we stayed for 5 nights and the rooms were refreshed every day
Small room space - including kitchen cramped in 25 sqm - claustrophobic Parking cost a lot - not sure if there is any thing less around, but for long stay 3+ days i expected a very nominal price
All ok :D
easy to get to underground stations near to tourist places
the place is too narrow number of staff is few
