Where do I start, Firstly the location is just idyllic with stunning views. The accommodation had absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are wonderful and the fridge was stocked with wonderful local produce if the higest quality. I can’t wait for another excuse to return to this little gem.

The grounds of the house where the accommodation is located, is very picturesque. Everything was very practical and no expense spared. Little things mattered like the daily paper and fresh bread upon arrival.

Stayed at the Quarryman’s Arms , lovely place with great food and amazing views. Busy with locals and packed full for dinner & in the bar which is always a good sign.

I went to Bath Academy of Art eons ago in Corsham. Loved it then and love it now. Stunningly beautiful walks in and around the village, accessibility by bus x2 per hour into Chippenham and Bath, Corsham Court and the beautiful gardens to visit as well as the Pound Arts Centre, what's not to like?So here are a few photos to give you an idea of what's on offer.

It’s clearly isn’t it you’d think down to the management to clearly ask the question to are we just cancelling the car parking charge or cancelling the whole booking so we’re was there duty of care to us instead they take all my money I actually thought was £460 whilst looking back on this booking it was actually £479 something pence they claimed they have staff to consider paying and couldn’t rekey the room so loose out themselfs basically so I ask again we’re is the duty of care to us intact as I “said” it’s shameful disgusting and as for looking at the small print there policy “they are at fault I believe for clearly assuming not phoning or emailing us back to ask if this was the care parking fee or whole booking being cancelled ! They clearly could of comprised with given half of our money back “But it’s greed on there behalf losing out them selfs and don’t believe our room was not given to another customer especially sitting lying empty for 4 days oh no they clearly are unprofessional

Easily accessible by public transport - the X31 Faresaver bus runs frequently Monday to Saturday and limited service on Sunday (currently £2 bus fare until October 2023) - unless you have a bus pass - this bus runs between Bath Bus station and Chippenham Bus station - both of which gave train stations
It has many local independent cafes, shops (butchers, greengrocers and a coop) bakeries and pubs
It has plenty of walking opportunities as well as the annual walking festival that runs on the 2nd weekend in June
Booked 2 rooms for 4 guests back in March 23 to ensure we had the hotel and date that was important as a birthday and Christmas weekend. 2nd December 23. The hotel cancelled one of our rooms by email !!!! after 6 pm the night before then turned off the phones. So we could not communicate with them ! We are completely gutted and massively upset with this cancelled. Really poor and completely stopped what would have been a fabulous weekend! We're highly disappointed, so don't think your booking is guaranteed with this place!!!!!
Spacious, beautifully appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Large bathroom with a soaking tub. The hotel’s historic elements have been thoughtfully preserved but it also had stylish modern touches. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Ideally located to explore this part of Wiltshire, with a pretty garden and roaming peacocks (apparently a thing in the town). Would love to return in fall or winter as the room invites staying in.
Very peaceful stay at the hotel in a room with nice furniture and paintings. The garden area was fantastic and a good place to relax with a book, especially during the day when it was very quiet. I stayed during a very hot spell but the room kept very cool, which was nice. The TV in the room had access to movies and the wifi was good. Plenty parking.
Great escape from the busy mania of London, I was sad to leave.
This is a beautiful and unusual hotel owned by a man and run by a staff who are deeply committed to hospitality. The meals were just amazing, the interior design is gorgeous and distinctive and the landscaping is designed around sustainable practices where grasses are permitted to grow wild but paths and walkways are carefully maintained so that the property can be enjoyed as much outside as inside.
Great location with a beautiful view, nice & cosy rooms with all equipment you need. We didn't have a car, but arrived by taxi from Corsham. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great! We also ate dinner there which was delicious, make sure you book in advance as it seems to be a popular restaurant to eat. The waitress on the night was super friendly.
The cottage is well appointed and comfortable, and perfectly located: in the countryside, but less than two miles from Corsham town centre. It was nice being on a farm with animals around us (fortunately, the cockerel didn't wake us early!). Good off-road parking space and a covered area out of sight of the road where we could store our tandem bicycle.
Very close to the centre of Corsham and lovely walk in ground of Corsham Court. Easy access to the bus to Bath. Friendly hosts. Quiet area. Parking on street, but was OK to get a spot. Limited shops and restaurants but more than enough for a few days. I had lovely food out. Love the quirky decor and being able to chat at breakfast.
Well placed on an A Road. Rooms well appointed and good size but we did take a superior double. Restaurant serving food of a good quality and varied menu. Sunday roast was excellent. Staff on both the hotel and pub side very friendly. Well placed for a nice walk down the lovely High Street and Corsham Court House and Gardens.
Nice quiet area. The picture above is not the house we stayed in? We stayed in the two bedroom one. Well stocked fridge for breakfast. Ongoing work to the property will be lovely when it's done, the property has lots of potential, just needs tweaking. Nice owners.
Breakfast was a well stocked fridge and cereals in cupboard. Great location for exploring Wiltshire, everything provided in the caravan (except a grater!) - including hairdryer and lovely towels! Cosy, comfortable and relaxed accomodation.
Super clean, spacious and comfortable house. Plenty of living space - large high spec open plan kitchen, two large lounges. Great location - about 20 mins walk into Corsham which is lovely and the wider Wiltshire area.
Loved the room and the evening meal was splendid. As for the location perfect for my job the next day in Corsham. I didn't realise breakfast wasn't included; however I had no problem paying for it.
Free parking outside, gravel ground so hard suitcases :/
Historic hotel and beautiful scenery in the gardens
Rooms nicely furnished
Room itself was great value for money
The views were stunning, the produce was tasty (especially the eggs) and the room was very comfy. It was close to Corsham and 20 mins from Bath, ideal location.
