The hotel is clean and tidy
We noticed that someone had been smoking in the room and had put the ends in the sink which then the sink got blocked , we were going out for a meal so we told someone on the desk in which they said it would be sorted before we got back , but I'm sorry to say it wasn't
General cleanliness as the place looked almost new. Although the "new shower" has mould growth on the grout lines which show signs of neglect and poor cleaning abilities. Shame.
It would appear the staff find it hard to smile, hard to tell the truth and would prefer patrons to eat out in the evenings. It was amazing to see a pretty fair haired female cheerful at morning breakfast time as she stood out as "not the norm for this place" with a limited choice breakfast. Parking problems.
breakfast was basic at best
The Room The Food The Staff The Modern Feel the diversity of the clientele The Parking
Having No Mushrooms or Tomatoes at breakfast. Minor detail. Price of Beverages..
Room was very clean and comfortable.
Comfort of bed
Small hotel car park meant we had to park in nearby multi storey not good when you have a lot of luggage to cart about
staff and cleanliness and comfort of the bed was excellent
Asked for a ground floor room as disabled and in a wheelchair and was given a second floor room.... yes there is a lift but wished I had still got a ground floor room as not comfortable with lifts
Everything Thanks guys at reception for help.
nice, clean and very good size rooms,
needs to be improve service in the morning during the breakfast
comfy bed clean sheets clean bathroom what more do you need excellent value for money
My wife was accused of something she didn't do as a result we was refused purchasing drinks at the bar. We were staying at hotel to attend my wifes brothers funeral and no sympathy was offered by the management.
Noisy kids at breakfast.prefer food in room.
We liked the central location. Rooms were very clean and with windows closed no outside noise was coming in. Nice bathroom with spacious shower. We got some take away food and staff provided plates and forks and knifes. All together good value for money
Maybe breakfast is little bit basic but probably enough choice for a short stay.
It was good value and comfortable
The breakfast could have been better
Central location for business On site parking Really helpful friendly staff Quiet Nice room Reasonable price
Cooked Breakfast an abomination (as with all Holiday Inn Express hotels -- someone at Head Office does not like/understand food or the people who eat it) Evening meal menu limited (and not totally cheap) Caesar Salad had no croutons and had to pay £1.50 extra for chicken to go with it -- went to the 5 guys burger joint around the corner on the second night Flap on shower gel dispenser broken Liquid soap dispenser still had the lid on so initially, no soap ...
Really handy for town centre and trains to London
Some of the residents were very inappropriately behaved to the female staff!
the whole package , clean rooms and well equipped good breakfast which was included in the price
Breakfast was ghastly, the scrambled egg looked grey, the beans were cold. Thank heavens for toast and juice
Good private parking. Helpful staff, got into my room early.
Breakfast not very fresh especially the scrambled egg!
not the best choice of breakfast, car park had a lot of litter and broken glass and was quite small
shower and room
booking in was slow, my wife booked 1 night and i had booked an additional night because our plans had changed, explained this and paid for the extra night, following day key card stopped working and reception queried length of stay.resolved quickly but problem shouldnt have arisen. lots of signs about free wifi but you have to use a code from reception not mentioned on booking in, breakfast was a free for all not enough space when they are busy
The hotel itself, its staff and food were very good. Well done.
Unfortunately we had been put on a floor with a group booking and had to put up with the noise of drunken people coming and going until around 6.00am.
Very professional staff. Great room in good order throughout. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Good selection of breakfast items.
Paying £3 for car park. Breakfast 'hot' selection was cool even at 7.30.
Comfortable and convenient.
Breakfast - even at 8.00am cooked food was luke-warm to cold.
Staff very helpful.
Hotel noisy, housekeeping slamming doors in the morning. Breakfast was terrible.
