General efficiency and cleanliness
Poor parking facilities and both the hotel's carpark, and even more the local multi story's, distance from the hotel entrance
the blue night light in the bathroom - what a good idea as it means you don't disturb your partner with bright bathroom lights or extractor fans
noisy, pretty poor breakfast
Staff were helpful. Location was excellent.
To have to pay for parking the car.
The gentleman who served me on arrival was an absolute star as is accidentally booked to rooms instead of just the one however helped me modify my booking order with out involving any addition costs! I didn't catch his name but he was a supervisor with darkish short hair thankyou!
Clean and comfortable - everything you would expect from the chain.
Breakfast was poor. Sausages were like cardboard.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, and most of all quiet, could not hear people next door, which is unusual, the breakfast was ample, with plenty of selection. We would recommend this hotel, and will certainly book again.
Would have liked some drawers in the room, while this may not be necessary for the overnight stayers, we were there 3 nights and had to leave our clothes in the suitcase.
Location good that is all I can say that is good about this place
No sleep room too hot even with air con and that was noisy. Beds worst bed I have ever slept in and the parking was a joke! Never stay here again
good included breakfast bathroom small room, lacking space
bed was too soft poor bus transport, scheduled timetable was horrible, they didn't turnup, train service is great
We found the hotel to be modern, comfortable, very clean and in a good location.
The breakfast area. The one floor staff member on duty on Sunday in this area did an amazing job despite high volume of people using this area. However we had to wait for cups, cutlery, food etc. Also,we were warned by relatives living in the area that the area around the bus station was not particularly safe at night.
Room Reception Bar area
No bacon or fried eggs although plenty of choice.
Room was clean and comfortable.
breakfast was chaotic, tables weren't cleared quick enough and had to be cleared yourself to be able to sit down and eat.
Rooms and bathroom
Poor parking, not enough and staff disinterested, run off in NCP, no instructions for use from staff
For the money paid this was a great stay. Super location in the center of Harlow and just 100 m from the bus station. Very nice large rooms with good bathroom. Super service from the staff. The incl breakfast was fine and way better than meny budget hotels i have stayed in. Best stay in this price range we had ever. Recomended.
For the money paid nothing.
Clean, good staff,
Bed was really itchy, i think they had washed them in bleach
Clean, spacious room and bathroom
-Hardly any parking, had to park a multi-story parking and pay £3 for 1 day, which means taking your luggage up and down stairs in a multi-story parking. -they don't have irons for rooms. They have a very small 'ironing room'. After about 3 minutes you start to feel hot and humid. This needs to improve for £75/night.
very clean and up to date
mirror over desk would have been nice
Relatively new so room was okay. Price was good as booked in advance. The lift worked.
Breakfast facilities poor. Not enough tables to sit, tables not cleared. Staff not able to keep,up with demand. Ran out of knives, plates, milk in Coffee machine. Cooked food limited to awful sausages, scrambled egg and baked beans. Didn't come across a single member of staff who appeared friendly. No smiles, no hello when passing in the corridor, no one looked like they were enjoying their jobs, car parking a joke. Tiny carpark was full and people double park making it extremely difficult to turn round etc. and then has a barrier. Which you need a code to get out, and if you have just arrived you have no code for. Neighbouring car park is rough and missed area to park first time as it said no right turn but you had to turn right to get in the holiday inn section. Once you had turned the wrong way you could not go back down to the lower level so we had to drive out , down the road, round the roundabouts and come back in! Uncomfortable lounge area , no comfy chairs and a truly awful carpet!
Decor and comfort
Overflow car park not clear on arrival.
Breakfast was not good!
The hotel was good clean and modern the staff efficient and friendly.
The only complaint was the breakfast service was slow with long wait for items to appear. Staff appeared over worked.
Location and staff
The breakfast was poor and enjoyable as the meal which sets your day off it should have been better we used frankie and bennys for the second morning
