Great location, very clean & excellent staff
Hot food at breakfast was poor
Breakfast was very poor. Could also have had more coffee in room.
There was a confusion about late check out. At first the staff told me I can pay £10 per each extra hour. The next day another staff member said that after 02:00pm I have to pay whole night fee. I packed my stuff and at the check out, the same person told me oh you can stay for few hours and pay £10 per hour. It was too late.
The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious
The WIFI kept dropping out. The breakfast was the very same every day. The coffee was very poor
Basic breakfast but ok if you consider its complimentary. Nice design and modern ambience
Found hair in my bed sheets. Wifi didnt work our second night of stay
I like the style of the hotel and the staff are very friendly.
Parking is restricted as there's not a lot of space.
After travelling 250 miles, to find out that that I didn't have room, really did take the shine off my day. Then to be told it wasn't the Holiday Inn's fault with the Assistant Manager blaming Booking.com - my sense of humour failed. I all but had to force him to ring around to find another room (20 miles away). Something they then started doing for the OTHER FIVE people who did not have a room at this hotel. I left feeling like something that had stuck to the bottom of the Assistant Managers shoe! Awful experience.
Maid knocking at door
Booked hotel through Booking.com so got a good deal. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super. Hotel was cosy and comfortable and location was near Hoddesdon. We were taking friends back to see where they were married 45 years ago.
Price of drinks in the hotel bar were extremely expensive. So be warned! Would have been nice to have some little packs of biscuits in the room although there was tea and coffee.
The hotel was easy to find. The staff were all very welcoming. The hotel was clean and well appointed. The room was of a good size and was also well appointed. All in all a very enjoyable stay and I would gladly recommend the hotel.
The limited number of car parking spaces on the hotel site.
Easy to find Friendly staff Very clean Choice of breakfast
Smaller bed than home was compounded by sinking in the middle. Shame as room was great, very quiet.
Better than expected breakfast
Having to get a new wifi code everyday and paying £3 per night car parking.
The breakfast could have had more choice, no bacon, no poached egs , no fryed eggs only scrambled eggs, sausage and beans. Could have been better.
Lovely size shower, plenty of hot water, room itself was a lovely size. Very fresh and clean. £3 per day to park which was next to the hotel.
central location, room and bathroom very spacious. good selection for breakfast. excellent cleanliness in the room
no wi fi access without paying for a pass. no explanation of any services on arrival just asked to sign in and given room key. sausages on breakfast weren't of a good quality (but to be expected for the price and unlimted breakfast). Too much open plan so sounds travel too much at breakfast, making it slighty unbearable to enjoy.
Second stay here and again I can't fault anything. Am already looking forward to my next stay
Had to go lol
Hotel was in a great location for our purposes. Very clean & comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast more than adequate, especially considering the great value price paid for our stay.
Car park could do with additional spaces. Was lucky to get a space!
Lovely big room, clean and comfortable. Lovely big shower. Good breakfast.
Being clean and tidy
NO Barth in the room no good
Good location in town centre
Breckfast not nice and they close it dead on time even if 5 mins late! We stayed for new years eve someone was sick in corridor and it was there all morning then the place stunk for the next 2 days! No room service No resturant only bar area Short staffed waited half hour for an extra duvet for sofa bed!
I liked the location you turn right out of the door you are in the bus station go forward you are in the town centre car park is limited but I got on without any problem went to see our son who lives in harlow so if we go again I will book here
nothing it was ok
Room size, location, comfy bed( it did dip slightly but being in a single, there was no roll together) nice warm room with the choice to turn up or down, fantastic big shower ( pressure was a tad low but hey who cares) nice big towels on the whole a great time, will use again has we are in Harlow every couple of months
There was a good choice for breakfast but the hot choice was lacking in quality the scrambled eggs were way over cooked and the sausages were also the same but there is plenty of toast, pastrys, cereal, fruit, yogurts and drinks hot @ cold.so for us it was not a problem , if you are looking for a full English you won't get it here! But for the price we paid we thought it was fantastic value!
