Loved the restaurant downstairs and close location to town. I personally liked the quirky individual room names.
There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom and when I requested some we were told they had run out.
The maze to get to my room
I like ther is so quite And its very lovly restoraunt
Location of hotel, free parking
Unfriendly staff, dirty bathroom, no toilet roll. Uncomfortable bed, thank goodness it was only 1 night.
The decoration needs attending to throughout the accommodation areas and in room 2 we had black and yellow tape over broken floor tiles where it would be expected to repair the tiles and not just tape over the damage The bathroom maintenace needs some attention as in the past there had been a faulty tap and had Beeb replaced with a totally different type of tap which looked ridiculous. General maintenance appears to be done by an odd job person who is not very good at any trade
Large rooms, well furnished, lots of character to the building.
Not really a complaint - but I felt that on a Sunday morning the (very good) buffet breakfast could go on a little later than 10:00 am.
Close to the Gallagher stadium, and the flower pot.
Food was exelent!
Lot of noise from the restaurant below our bedroom. Terrible beds!
Staff very friendly, Food was goodboth for dinner and B/fast.
Bedroom window sash not working so had to be propped up with a log of wood. Also bed linen from previous visitors had not been removed from the room.Room noisy due to nearbye main road traffic. No lights near mirror in b/room.
Large room Excellent check in Location excellent 2 min walk to town Breakfast - good choice
Mattress too hard for me
Staff were excellent, location also very good for a night out in Maidstone.
Wasn't hugely impressed with breakfast, little choice if you don't like cereal or fruit.
the staff gave good service
Friendly and helpful staff (Jo-Jo was happy and smiling of a morning and her cleaning was top notch). Great food with a relaxing atmosphere and in a prime location for all that Maidstone has to offer. Try this place!
bed. size of room/bathroom. location.
damp patches on ceiling/wall. cracked floor tiles ib bathroom. dirty windows.
The room, bar, hotel, garden, near town, easy access late at night
Breakfast wasn't cooked, had to pay extra for cooked, no hot chocolate in r
Overall good value
Shower door fell off again !!room 7
Close to city center, so you could walk easily into town center.
To pay extra for a full english breakfast, instead of giving people a choice for continental or english. Because continental was allready charged.
Welcoming friendly staff excellent food convenient car parking
not a big critisism but we had a lot of stairs to climb to the top floor
Just a few minutes walk from Maidstone East Railway station. Quick check-in and fast response to minor requirements (box of tissues in bathroom, light bulb in bedside lamp)Large room with three chairs. Good TV. Comfy bed and good bedclothes. Additional pillows and towels for the asking. Continental breakfast choice good. Wide choice of cereals and bread products.
Bright exterior lights (from car-park) penetrated the thin curtains. Noisy fans and doors from below. This was caused by restaurant customers using the toilets adjacent to one of the dining rooms. Wi-Fi (by O2) was alright but the signal was variable and although O2 claimed you only needed to sign in once you were often asked to sign in again without leaving the room.
Breakfast was ok.
Very poor response from staff to contact us the day following. On leaving car was blocked in the car park because of deliveries.
Great location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Slightly noisy from room below (breakfast room) furniture being moved about late at night.
Cancelled booking for return trip at the end of our holiday as this hotel in our opinion was dirty and not up to its usual cleanliness
Unfortunately we had members of a hen do either side of us tht met in corridor in front of our room to discuss night.throughout night so had a rather disrupted amount of sleep .
Evening meal was good. Breakfast was disappointing
Noise from bar below. Shower was very poor. No tea bags in room.
great location, excellent staff
