Born Londoner who fell in love with the Lake District over 15 years ago! Roses at first was our holiday home until my husband & I took the plunge and moved here permanently! Still love city life & a night out with the girls, but here is my happy place. The fresh air and scenery is breath taking and Cumbrians are a friendly and super chilled bunch! I love being out on the fells, the quiet countryside & being around nature. Nestled amongst the amazing the Irish Sea, Gosforth is a small traditional Lakeland village filled with charming cottages with a well stocked village shop, yummy bakery, Italian restaurant, cafe, playing fields and swing park for the kids and, all important, village pub.
