Score from 407 reviews Very good
Nice friendly staff. Very accommodating with our Labrador dog Harley who was impeccably behaved. Not a lot on the menu that I would choose but what I did have was cooked to perfection. We'll be back.
Gorgeous looking place. Beautiful design. Sumptuous bedroom. Quiet and peaceful so a great night's sleep. Lived the free tea station downstairs and the Macs.
Very average meal in the bar. Pasta with pesto and ticket and Parmesan salad. Pasta over cooked-literally drowned in pesto. Rocket salad was put on top of heated food- so it wilted and I didn't enjoy the meal one bit. Sorry, but that's an easy meal to get right and they didn't.
This Hotel is amazing. Loved it , very comfortable rooms and helpful staff.
Smart, quiet & comfortable.
Dinner pricey. Breakfast welcome was poor.
Hotel was very clean, beds very comfortable with lovely breakfasts
Room generous and well equipped, location quiet staff pleasant. Clean, large communal areas, tea making facilities in room, breakfast quality good. Billing smooth
Car Parking difficult on day Location isolated (no other places to eat without car). Restaurant portions minute and choice poor! Better bar menu not advertised. Breakfast staff in chaos!
The food was good in the restaurant
The staff and their inflexibility, rudeness and totally unhelpful!
Comfortable, warm, chic.
More info about the building design ecco credentials. Sink design over practicality- hard to see hot cold direction, water on slow didn't reach the basin, have to put hand in water to remove plug. Fridgemore useful than safe.
Hotel modern. Comfortable and very clean. Staff friendly. Would definitely stay again
None of us could fault the orchard hotel or it's staff. The 14 year old with us who has travelled well for her years said it was the best hotel she's stayed at! from the beginning to end of our weekend stay it was spot on. We had enjoyed an extensive breakfast choice, computer use, gym use, grounds for running in, free coffee and tea facility and free, close car parking.
Hot Chocolate in the machines would have been nice but maybe this is a safety measure for children who are more likely to help themselves choc drink than to tea/coffee.
Everything that we experienced. It was a short stay.
Nothing. Didn't stay long enough to widen our experience, e.g. dining.
Very helpful staff Quiet rooms Clean throughout Value for money
Bathroom was lovely with lovely products large bath sheets, they supplied laundered/used robes and packed slippers but surprised they charged £5 to take slippers away! Bathrobe £30. Lovely TV, doc, and wifi but not there long enough to use these. Receptionists were excellent nothing was too much trouble for them.Parking very good.
Breakfast was until 11am on a Sunday and when we arrived at 10.30 it was very disappointing, food cold and poor selection as trays had not been replenished. On complaint they refunded out money but we still went without a breakfast.
Rooms are newly fitted in contemporary style, clean and fresh, big and spacious hotel.
Too business focused, ideal to have meetings at ,or an excellent conference venue but I prefer a smaller more unique hotel.
Nice decor throughout, good breakfast, lovely location, free parking
Inattentive staff in restaurant on Saturday evening, bar staff were good once called over
The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. Its definitely one of the quietest hotels we've stayed in and a perfect location for access to the conference suites.
The food was not of an equal standard to the setting. We both had the fish pie and to say it was tasteless was an understatement. Value for money in terms of the food on offer was poor.
Location New build Quiet Food
Tin roof outside window when raining
When me and friend arrive the hotel was very nice and very clean we are pleased with the room and the bed was very comfortable the rate is like 4 stars plus we would go there again
The room was very comfortable with a lovely roomy shower and breakfast delicious.
Only had one nights stay but couldn't fault the hotel.
Just about Everything. The staff, the room, the location...all outstanding!
Breakfast was good, but not great.
friendly, efficient service
towels replaced when not requested
Clean, attractive room Good bar food Convenient location for East Mids Conference Centre Plenty of parking Friendly staff
Location - University Campus. Layout of building Room Food Ambiance
The building and its setting in the trees on the University campus. Big car park. Friendly, helpful, efficient and professional staff. The spacious room, big flat-screen TV, big comfy bed, coffee/tea. Super view from room (3rd floor). Very good breakfast. Altogether a most relaxing stay.
just wish I could have stayed longer
