This was our 3rd stay in the last 10 months. Great value for money. Staffs are really helpful. Easy access to public transport. Definitely recommended.
Wifi was a bit iffy.
Very nice staff, the breakfast was much better, than expected, nice English breakfast, with a couple of choices.Safe carpark belongs to the hotel. The transport is really good, the bus stop is in front of the Hotel, near the underground, to get to London centre takes about 45 minutes.
Altough we got several key for the wifi, none of them was working properly. The sign was very poor, the last day nothing. The room needs some renovation, although it was very clean. The toilet seat needs change, it was quite bad, damaged. The bathroom would need some hangers.
This is my 2nd stay at Park Hotel. My first stay 10 months ago was a much better than this one. For starters, we got a much smaller room than last time around (both times we went for a triple room). Finding the room was bit of struggle as you had to wound your way thorough a set of stairs and corridors. At least the room was spotlessly clean even though it was very cramped. We are staying here again next week - hope to have a better experience this time around.
Wi-Fi is fairly patchy. You can hear all the traffic on the main street from the rooms facing towards the room.
The rooms were clean and the price was low
Although specifically stated, there was no WIFI in the rooms
breakfast layout although heat shutters where broken so food was cold.
Both twin beds had bad springs one was especially bad. Complained on return to hotel late evening about a leak in bathroom smell was terrible but was told it would be looked at in morning. Im guessing it has not been.
I liked the location, right across from a beautiful park. It's also really close to Gant's Hill station. The staff was cordial and the facility was very clean.
The single room had an open sky ceiling, which seemed great at 14:00 but at 06:00 the next morning it was the worst idea in the world. There's no way to shut out the light so no more sleep for you. Plus, the housekeeping came to service the room at 9 AM. Can I get some rest please?
Average is good. 24 hours front desk service helps me a lot. Receiptionist are friendly. The main thing is breakfast, excellent.
Room cleaners are not friendly.
It did what I wanted, which was give me and my family a bed for the night. Free parking. Friendly staff.
Location was a bit too far from City of London. Can't comment on food as we left too early for breakfast. They said they would provide sandwiches to take away but this didn't happen. No bath just shower. Missing smoke alarm in bedroom.
Breakfast was really good and diversified
A little to far to main attractions
Excellent location Very friendly and helpful staff Secure car park Clean room Easy accessiblility for travel
Everything about the hotel. Won't stay there again.
Just clean room and clean shower and bath
We checked in at 1pm for 1 night's stay got told our room has maintenance problems. Got shifted to another sister hotel. No fan no air conditioning. . Small window. Asked for a fan at 130. 430.730 and finally at 11pm . No response. No action. Totally ruined our day.room was like a oven. Didnt sleep all night.
Not much. I can only say that the room was clean enough
The food was terrible. We woke up at 7.50am to two men hammering the floorboards and walls in the room above us (this was a Sunday) The staff were rude. We had been to a show and our phones were off so we hadn't confirmed a second time that we were coming although I had put on the form that we would not be arriving till midnight... (This was clearly ignored) and instead the man at the desk had a go at us and told us we nearly cancelled your room and we would have been charged etc etc. What he forgot to mention was that the hotel was almost empty anyway because it's a dirt hole!!! So there would never have been a problem with us stAying
Variety of items in the free breakfast.
There should have been a lift.
Did exactly what it needed to.
The constant stream of police cars, shower fell off wall all the time. Blue lights under the roof that shine in through our window, curtains weren't big enough to cover both sides of window.
secure parking was fine, rooms were clean and comfortable.
the buildings were old, but whereas the rooms were comfortable and clean, the dining room possibly hasn't changed since the 1960s and the breakfast was lacking in quality.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice it was an ideal hotel for just the one night very good value for money especially near london
The shower was difficult to turn on And the room was a little warm at night a fan might be a good idea And there were some mysterious stains on the duvet... Also the orange juice at breakfast was warm
The carpet in the room was wet. Due to an brocken radiator. one day we had also an wet bathroom. Water came from the top. Old beds and a broken Cubboard.
transferred to different hotel due to wter damage, new room was smelly and wifi didnt work. prices for dinner way to high
Breakfast was good. Good price.
WiFi sometimes stops working.
Clean towels and clean sheets
Staff never smiled once during check in and checkout. Arrived 2 hours later than check in time but still had to wait 30 mins for our room to be ready. First impressions ruined the stay.
It is value for money. The facility is adequate for backpacker. Free breakfast always a plus.
The hotel is far from the London city. Probably at least 45 minutes if you takes public transport.
Handy location, bus at door, two stops to rail station to London. Good breakfasts, more than enough, presentation, variety and cooking methods could have been better.
The "Hotel Inspector" would not have been amused!!!!! Stains on the carpet when we arrived...still there when we left 5 days later, Mould in the shower, if you were heavier than a qo year old child you would have had trouble getting into the bathroom at all.
The reception staff were friendly. The bed comfortable, room décor relatively nice (particularly the light, curtains and bed), modern bathroom
The price. I paid £105 for a room. Its not a hotel, its a bed and breakfast in an old house, which smells of damp, with old fire exit doors and has wall paper peeling off of the dining room. There was no shower gel just hand soap and the bath towels were thin and small. The breakfast staff were not very friendly and although the breakfast was ok it was definitely not worth £105. It was a nice enough place to stay and I would recommend it to other people but only if the price was lowered. The room is worth £50-60 a night. Rooms were also being advertised for £28 outside so felt like I'd been ripped off. The night before I stayed at Stansted airport Holiday Inn for £70, which was more modern and more value for money with a nicer breakfast.
