The rooms are very modern and clean. Tv has plenty of channels and a lovely big window was given to us which really brightens the room up!

The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is a choice of cereals, youghurt & fruit, croissants & also a self service fried breakfast is available. Tea , coffee, fruit juice & water are also available .
The hotel is not noisy even when full. It is ideally situated for motorway & Leeds Bradford airport access

Loved the location, staff very helpful , only stayed for one night as we were heading off to Whitby the following day.
Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable
Had the full English breakfast, which was great , cereals, and the usual beverages were also available,
Would definitely stay again if we visit this area of Yorkshire
The locals very friendly and hospitable.
Nice restaurants which are very varied.
We dined at Healds Hall Hotel and the food was amazing, but
you need to book a table in advance as it is very popular and can
get busy.
The staff there ensure you get your chosen meal piping hot.
they are very hard working and work as a team very efficiently.
Really lovely staff.

Terrible, disappointing, lacked basic comforts, no heating, no hot water, toilet in one of the rooms kept breaking, no food or breakfast options, no bar both of which is predicted on website, no-one available was that helpful or overly concerned. No onsite staff in hotel, no-one! A weekend cut short due to the faults above and the most uncomfortable stay! Contact was by telephone which meant time waiting.

Perhaps we didn't see the best bits, but our impression was of a drab urban wasteland.
The hotel was a good base for the must-visit coalmine, and we also went to Haworth and Hebden Bridge.
We ate at the hotel (one of the best ever!)

Cleckheaton is a lovely Yorkshire market town with countryside right on the doorstep. There's a market on Saturdays, a fantastic library and town hall, an indoor market most days and a good range of shops, cafés and restaurants. It's well served by buses to and from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Dewsbury and surrounding areas. It's also easily accessed from the M62 motorway.
I'd just attended a family funeral on arrival. i was welcomed by a lovely gentleman who insisted he made a rm change to accompany my needs. The house was beautiful, the view was outstanding. I felt like I was home. I walked around the grounds and felt overwhelmed by veiw.
I will be staying again. I did live in Cleckheaton for many years, and memories came flooding back, I was I'd have stayed longer. Bolton born Yorkshire breed strong in arm, thick inn head hehe. Thanku to the gentleman who provided me with extra coffee n suger at 6am.
We thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds and the gardens very picturesque with
comfortable seating areas. The bedroom was clean and spacious, also en suite was lovely and had everything one
needed. All meals were of a very high standard and served by friendly, courteous and very professional staff.
The menu for dinner was varied and cooked beautifully by chef who knows what he is doing.
All in all 100% Definitely will be staying here again without a doubt.
The room was older style but had beautiful large arched windows over the property's garden. The breakfast was great, and always enough choice and plenty of options. We ate dinner once with my family, who are from the area, 10 of us in total, and the hotel accommodated us in their beautiful conservatory area.
The warm welcome, the delicious breakfasts, the dining experience and the location as we were seeing family locally. The hotel was set back off the road, so was very peaceful. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.
The spa facilities were nice, bit pricey at the dream spa when you're a guest at the hotel.
The food was lovely, the waitress (sisters) were fab, as they were the last time I visited
