The room was very comfortable. Nice touches like preparing the bed at night, tv hidden in cupboard and spacious bathroom. Staff very accommodating and although the hotel is not really suitable for young children they were very happy to provide high chair when my grandchild visited me for supper.

The postcode on Booking.com when entered in the satnav took you to the wrong location and became a nightmare to find the hotel.

Very friendly staff

My room was opposite the room where all the cleaning equipement was kept. I was woken up at 6.40 by the noise they were making outside my room by glasses being clanked and trollys being put into place and doors banging ready for cleaning. As my stay was for business I felt I had driven to your hotel to rest before work and this didn't happen as I was woken up before I wanted to be. My meal the evening before the pastry was soggy on the vegtable tart. I felt to spend over £100 and to receive that level of service was poor. I spoke with the deputy manager who said she would email me an offer by way of appology, to date I've heard nothing. A very disappointed client. Regards Mrs Boatwright.

It's a lovely hotel, can't fault anything

The hotel and grounds were lovely and very picturesque. Staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Lovely feel to the place. We truly did find an amazing place.

The staff couldn't do enough for you, as a solo lady traveller, I felt very comfortable. My room was very pretty, comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was a good size.

That slippers wasnt put in our room until asked, then we found them outside our hotel room when we finished our spa time

Everything was 5*. We were made to feel at home the minute we walked through the doors. The reception staff were very friendly especially the member of staff that showed us to our rooms he was exceptionally helpful. He even managed to get us an upgrade to a larger room at no extra cost. We arrived at midday for the ladies Xmas Luncheon.The staff in the dining room were excellent and the meal was lovely. We used the spa, pool and steam/sauna rooms. The spa was very hard to leave :). Ladies changing rooms were tastefully decorated and everything was provided including powerful hairdriers and GHDs. We were booked into Iris room lovely red decor then we upgraded to Violet room slightly larger with beautiful decor.

We had a slight problem early evening when we realised the heating had broken down in the bedroom (on the coldest night of the year !) but this was sorted in less than ten minutes by the housekeeper providing us with a very powerful electric freestanding heater.

A beautiful Hotel and Spa experience.

Everything was "nice" - the food was nice, spa was nice, room was very nice - very little of it was outstanding, but would stay again. The receptionists on check-in and check-out were the best staff encountered - efficient, genuinely friendly - good tour of the room which was clean original and interestingly quirky. Bar food was very good, very good club sandwich and risotto...

Everything was good, but pretty overpriced for what it was - pricing is at the very highest high end level. Many things were extra, with a service charge of 12.5% automatically added to just about everything. Restaurant food was good without being top notch outstanding; vegetables / potatoes (extra) in restaurant were appalling value £4.50 (plus 12.5%) for a plate of 4 new potatoes, and same price for v small selection of run of the mill veg, typified the value. Service was polite, but somewhat haphazard and without much genuine warmth. Hotel staff were generally pleasant enough, but for that price expect an amazing level of attention - one was interrupting staff conversations in reception between themselves, which is awkward

The very bad service , I asked for a menu and waited 15 mins, then after another 30 mins , I ad to ask if I could order my meal, after a few words I walked out and went out to an outher restraunt , also the view from my expensive room was off a wall , I will send you the photo,

The hotel was set in lovely surroundigs and looked very welcoming as we approached it. The staff were professional and friendly and were very helpful with helping us with any queries that we had.Our eveing meal was fantastic and my daughter ( this being her fourth visit) chose her favorite dish( for the fourth time)- the lamb! We came to visit Rowhill Grange to use the spa which lived up to our expectations and would certainly return again!

The one and only negative response is that our room was far too hot which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep!

This is a really nice hotel in the 'countryside', although it is in a suburban area the feel of the place is that of isolation (good). This is much nicer than most other country style hotels (manors) that I have stayed at in the last 12 months. I didn't have time to try the spa but looks great. Food at the restaurant was excellent

The staff were very helpful and attentive, carrying bags to my rooms and helping me at every turn. I found though that the automatic how is every thing type questions every time I passed the reception a bit off putting. They could perhaps be a little more creative in how they train there staff, so you don't get the same words each time - perhaps a bit more conversational?

Excellent Hotel, I couldn't fault it at all.
