Area Stretching out onto Roome Bay, Crail boasts blue flag sandy beaches, coastal walks, a beautiful stone harbour and quality shellfish. Crail's history most notably begins in 1310 when Robert the Bruce made Crail a Royal Burgh. Today, Crail is the oldest Royal Burgh in Fife and, from St. Mary's mythical Blue Stane to the Tollbooth gaol, it's easy to see why this popular East Neuk Village is ideal for groups of friends and families of all ages. Just make sure you're tucked up in bed before the Old Town Clock strikes at Crail's 10pm curfew!
