Hotel Ellenby occupies a premium place on Scarborough’s dramatic cliffs, overlooking the stunning North Bay and offering stylish accommodation within easy reach of the beach, cafes and prime attractions. The main town centre shops, restaurants, harbour and many other attractions are within a gentle 15 minute stroll. The Ellenby was built in 1943 and is a Grade Two listed building, but has been recently and sympathetically upgraded by new owners Paula & Tony. There are 7 en suite guest bedrooms, all tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and with tea and coffee making facilities and beautiful views of either the sea or the gardens. The hotel provides a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for guests aged from 16 upwards, together with hearty breakfasts making the most of top quality local produce and there is a guest lounge and honesty bar available.
