Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear instructions for check in from host. Least liked was the amount of traffic lights on the shorefront - nothing to do with the accommodation which was excellent in every way - just needed to allow extra time when driving anywhere. Everywhere we went was family/kid friendly, and everyone was super friendly and nice We’ll definitely be back, and for longer. Plantasia, the tropical animal indoor zoo is fantastic, and staff super helpful and friendly. Loads of the big brand supermarkets within easy reach for self catering accommodation. Long drive (from Surrey), so would recommend a rest stop at services/Bristol on travel there and back

Mumbles is a great place to stay. Everyone is very friendly. Great walks along the seafront to walk into town or on to Swansea!
Lots to see and do on foot. Dogs are out in abundance which is lovely to see and they are welcome in all establishments.
M&S foodhall too which is an added bonus.

It was just an amazing experience.
It was just an amazing experience. The area are buzzing and there were so much fantastic places to eat. The beaches were amazing and one need time to visit them all. For us it was also close to so many Castles to visit and see. And if you like your meat, then this is the place to go. The Welsch lamb and specifically the Welsch Salt Marsh lamb is the best.

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding and having travelled from Kent decided to stay for a few days and explore. Overall the weather was kind to us, just Sunday with rain. We took ourselves off to Rhossili Bay which was beautiful and because I have some disabilities it had a reasonably flat path that you could walk along to see the beach and the Worms Head. The main difficulty we had was using the car park ticket machines! You needed a degree to understand them but luckily, a local resident helped us and we in turn was then able to help others in the same plight. A lovely long weekend.

Beautiful, quirky, retro, very spacious, comfy beds, sea views has everything you could need. The board games in the lounge was a lovely touch. Below the flat is a welcoming traditional pub with piano! Close proximity to seafront, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and many galleries. Already booked for later on in the year.
It’s a perfect location for a quiet break on the Mumbles. The cottage is quaint with a very cosy living room that has a log burner that creates great heat and ambience. The upstairs has perfectly equipped kitchen, bathroom and main bedroom with a large, maybe king size, comfy double bed. Although it was December, the patio was great to let the dog out to stretch his legs and the views over the bay are brilliant. In 2 minutes you can be walking along the front, and in a bar or restaurant in a similar time.
Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay.
Room was spacious, spotlessly clean.
Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay)
Lovely white linens, big bathsheets.
Comfort big bed. Block out curtains.
Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs.
It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us.
Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.
Property is in a good location for access to the mumbles. Is easy to find and there are two large car parks near by. The restaurant downstairs is also very good and the 20% discount welcome.
The property overall was fairly clean and the basics of what you need are all there.
We were working on property in the area and this was fine for a place to crash for a night.
Spacious, clean and nicely decorated room with extra large bed, comfortable window sitting area with lovely view over the Mumbles waterfront. Large bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Generous breakfast served to the room. Staff helpful and friendly. Excellent location for exploring The Gower with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
The Coast House is a beautiful B&B right in front of the sea. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. We had several choices of breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options), and it was delicious. The self-check in was very easy to do, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!!
This is a lovely, spacious self contained apartment with fabulous vintage furniture and accessories to add a fun and original element. Situated above a fantastic traditional pub with lovely views of Swansea Bay. Property owners were lovely and very welcoming.
Very good location overlooking Swansea Bay and convenient for some good restaurants, pubs and easy walk to the small town centre area.Very welcoming in the form of Harry who was barman cum receptionist. Also, despite being on the promenade, the rooms were quiet.
Lovely, compact apartment within easy walking distance of the Mumbles sea front. Super clean, warm and comfortable with excellent central heating. Caroline is a lovely host and I'm sure we will stay here again (this being our third stay at Slade Gardens).
Quaint cottage with interesting history and wonderful setting. Up-the-hill patio (33 steps) has a great view of Swansea Bay. Well-equipped kitchen. Excellent location just up from the sea front. Easy walk to many restaurants.
A very kind, helpful, and friendly owner.
The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Good wholesome breakfast and convenient parking arrangements. The location of The Mumbles is ideal for discovering the Gower coast.
Great location with spectacular view of Swansea Bay. Promenade and coastal path on doorstep. Local public transport into Swansea and along the coast to the Gower peninsular (ANOB). Plenty of places to eat and drink.
The location was great, and being dog friendly was what attracted us to it. Our room had a sea view, and was reasonably spacious. It was comfortable and had everything that you'd expect from a hotel of this type.
The cottage was as expected and gave us a warm and comfortable stay. The view was lovely, up above the Mumbles village, where we could acquire anything we needed. We would come and stay again. Many thanks
The property is in a great location near shops, cafes, seafront walk etc.
A lovely clean, comfortable room with a shower room. A great view of Swansea Bay from the window. Delicious breakfast.
