The Staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was really good.I had eggs benedict fir breakfast, it was the best I have ever been served any where in the world. Fantasic. The breakfast room was so very quiet, the experience would be so much better if music could be played even at a low level. |

The beautiful area. The main building and restaurant. The bathroom was awful! A hip bath with a hand shower is useless.There were no shelves or cupboards on which to place toileteries |

Lovely large room ("better" room). Nice bathroom. Ideally situated for coastal walking, cycling, etc. A bit expensive. |

Good location for exploring the coast. Well appointed comfortable room. Good food, especially the cooked breakfasts ! We ate at the hotel on the first night, but the service was very slow, and we ate elsewhere the rest of our stay. Breakfast service was also erratic, for example the tea would be brought to the table, but we had to ask each day for milk etc. The quality of the food made up for it however. |

The food was superb and everyone was very helpful and accommodating. The room was quite small (Avocet) and the bed tilted slightly towards the middle - a new mattress needed perhaps. |

The staff, food etc. were very good. Everyone very friendly The only think I did not like was the mattress protector, which had a plastic lining, which is very hot and sweaty! |

The location is lovely. The room was spacious and well presented. Gardens are very nice, hotel has a nice atmostphere. The service in the restaurant and bar was very slow and did not appear to be very well organised. We seemed to spend an awful lot of time waiting to be served!! |

Food was excellent. Had dinner the first night but was disappointed with the service, as had to ask for a drink and the wine list. We also got fed up waiting to be asked if we wanted dessert and left. Breakfast service was excellent with plenty of choice. Bearing in mind this was quite an expensive hotel and we had booked their best room (Swan), we didn't appreciate the horrendous noise from the water system which woke us up at 6 a.m. and had drowned out the tv the night before. This had not happened on the first night as apparently the room next door was empty otherwise we would have asked to move. Service in restaurant see above. |
