The staff were great especially Rui. The decor was really nice and location was perfect. The food was 10/10.
The only thing that slightly bothered me was the room entry system and the jacuzzi didn't work.
Very helpful, friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble, even made us a meal when we turned up late. Fantastic food, glorious surroundings. Will definitely be back.
Staff friendliness Great Breakfast
Setting was lovely
No snacks available
Location excellent for views and bus and boat to Bath and lovely canal walk. Good breakfast
\Italian restaurant wasn't very authentic.
The location was good. The breakfast was good.
The room was away from the main building. The weather had changed and it was cold so the room was very cold could not put the radiator on. The light switch had aa card stuck to it with silver tape and this kept peeling off so the lights kept going off when the tape came unstuck very annoying. There was a wedding going on and could not sleep until that had finished.
Excellent service. The Italian restaurant was excellent and so was the service. Most probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Lovely setting.
Not the easiest entrance to find! The bed was very soft and creaked every time you moved.
Excellent hotel in picturesque location, very friendly staff and great breakfast
Some rooms on the small side
third room offered due to a cancelation was lovely although the carpet was filthy. Staff
The Chalet/motel room offered as the first room was awful, and the second room offered was tiny, not suitable for a couple at all. Foreign speaking staff
The hotel was in easy reach of bath by bus, taxi, car or boat. The accommodation was good and the food excellent
We have spent one night there. Staff was lovely, helpful and very nice. Room clean and cosy. Great location, easy to get to town by bus or taxi. Food was amazing at the Hotel restaurant. We did enjoy it.
Friendly welcome and helpful staff to find areas planned to visit. Room was well cleaned.
Room sparse, electrics did not work and "Heath Robinson " attempt to fix only partially successful so lights kept going out. TV had no signal so basics like news and weather not available. Breakfast buffet style and of a mediocre standard & slow to replenish empty dishes.
good choice for breakfast and staff very quick to offer and bring tea and coffee to the table. Good view from the room if stood up. Lovely grounds to the hotel and riverside walks. .
other residents going back to room early hours shouting and banging doors of which is down to respect of the individual. Dinner menu a bit expensive. booked 3 rooms, 2 were together the other was in the lodge away from other members of the family. This room was very small to have a double bed in.
beautiful setting Stunning views
no place to sit of an evening following dinner in the restaurant
My mother and I stayed at the old mill hotel in bath for three nights. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until our departure. The staff were so friendly and helpful - they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were very nice and the standard of cleanliness was very high. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the view made eating a pleasure. My daughter lives in the next village so we were transported around - although Bath city is a short distance away, I'm not sure how it would be for people relying on publuc transport - it would be too far to walk. We had such a lovely break and not only will we be returning to the hotel, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the old mill and it's lovely staff to everyone !! Value for money ? ABSOLUTELY !!
Everything was great area people facilities.
room carpet a bit dated.
clean, good parking, pretty views over river
Hope they fix the waterwheel, as it would be decorative. Not much actually old about this facility, should call it " The Mill"
Excellect food in the restaurant, great location on the river
Room number 2 is literally on the road with a busy toll bridge and lots of stationary cars with their engines running under your window! Very old building needs lots of upgrading - lots of cobwebs in corners of breakfast dining room.
The location is superb. The menu for the evening meals was varied and perfectly cooked /served. Enjoyed it enormously.
No key for the patio door in our room so was unable to lock it.
location. views. breakfast. restaurant.
noisy guests outside our window until 1.20 am one night.
What a gorgeous setting for a hotel I cant wait to go back, the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious too. 10 out of 10
the staff were very friendly and catered for all our needs. the views were spectacular
it was a little bit to far from bath but the ferry ride was just across the road
Hotel setting was nice by the river. Hotel bar was comfortable and it was nice to have somewhere to have a late drink after coming back after a night out. Lovely modern bathroom.
The hotel was quite a way out of town and so had to add bus fares to expenses occurred whilst staying there. Bed was very lumpy and the room needed a revamp, carpet was dirty.
Beautiful, scenic surroundings. Great getaway from the city. Clean & fresh air.
It was very hot and there was no fan in the room. The windows could not be opened as it faces other rooms.
