The whole stay was exceptional but the staff could not have been more helpful, they were very long hours and work damned hard to make guests happy within that time, the reception staff especially were fabulous we were a large group and they helped us move a lot of heavy baggage numerous times, they helped us pay everything seperately however much of a pain, they even let us choose our rooms before we paid! They were always polite and courteous and even ordered dominoes pizza on their personal phones at 3am! Could not of been happier, the breakfast was lovely, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the hotel is 10 minutes away from everything in bath great place will definitely be returning! Thank you x
Nothing but leaving!!!
The setting was perfect. All staff very polite and helpful. Food was good, and hotel very comfortable!
Loved the clean bright decor sensitively designed to fit in with ancient mill. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and good quality.
Staff were really friendly and helpful
Shower was difficult to turn on!
Friendly staff and very clean.Mine wasn't a holiday stay it was an essential family trip made better by the above.
The wifi set up wasn't good seems I paid for a nothing really.
The room was very comfortable
Some areas of the hotel could do with updating like the breakfast room
Arrived at 01.40 and were still met with a smile. Beautiful location and stunning views at breakfast. Pleasant and airy twin room.
I'm move around a lot while asleep. The mattress was wider than the bed base and kept sliding sideways off the base. I woke enough to push it back in place several times but inevitably hit the floor with bang when I turned over onto unsupported mattress. My friend sleeps immobile and had no problem, although the thump as I fell off my bed did wake her : )
The receptionists staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were comfy and clean, which was good.
Don't like one of the waitress who work in the breakfast area. She was totally trying to show her attitude by doing the followings: 1) when my mum arrive the breakfast very early, and she requested to sit in round tables with more comfy seats near the entrance, the waitress said those tables are reserved, but it has not got a sign saying that the table is reserved. It's a bloody B & B, breakfast area supposed to be first come first serve, how could the table supposed to be reserved? Bullshit! 2) she showed attitude to me and my sister were trying to collect some utensils in her cupboard by saying loudly,' EXcuse me. Forks and knife are on your tables!' Almost like a command. She wasn't smiling, she was really commanding. I don't think I deserve this kind of service, she was rude. We are well respected Chinese from Hong Kong, we were well mannered, I think she didn't like us so she treated us that way. Our stay would have been great if not because her.
All the staff were friendly and i had a good night sleep in a comfy bed With a good breakfast the next morning.
The location was stunning, we were upgraded to a superior double with patio and veiw of the river. We loved our stay and will come again
The room was a bit on the small side
Lovely location right next to river. Very good breakfast and restaurant staff excellent.
Two rooms - one had broken glass in bathroom floor and the other had a broken spa bath in a supposed superior room. Both rooms almost the same standard although one cost a lot more money. The male receptionist on front of house upon arrival clearly had not had a good day - very grumpy..! The staff the following day were fine though.
Breakfast is excellent and we also ate in the hotel restaurant which has a nice view of the toll bridge and river
Restaurant food and waitress was excellent. Nice location and cheap for a hotel in Bath.
Bed was uncomfortable. Two singles pushed together so kept falling down the gap and also very lumpy mattress.
The views of the river and tranquil peaceful surroundings! Plus four poster bed and newly refurbished room! Staff very friendly.. Food excellent! Ideal for a peaceful get away to de-stress...
The location was lovely being next to the river. Across the road was a Vintage Inn was had a much better selection of food.
It wasn't a very relaxing atmosphere. If we had paid the full price, I would have very disappointed about the cleanliness of the room.
Great for walking along the camel, nice walk into Bath about 40 mins
No free wifi
Not a lot
Room was what I call a "Justabout" Room. Just about room to get in it, just enough room to get round the bed, just about room to get past the mirror unit, just about room to put your coat in the wardrobe and only just about room to sit on the toilet, and I am not tall.
The room was really clean, big bed supremely comfortable, radiators really hot, fantastic shower for two people at once, really hot water lovely. Couldn"t open the shampoo or shower gel sachets but not really important as had soap provided too. Breakfast good. Will come again.
Sausages a bit rubbery, everything else ok.
The Staff were friendly and the hotel quiet. A pretty location.
The fact that the boiler obviously couldn't cope with the number of guests - we were not the only ones who only had cold water in the morning.
Staff were fabulous and friendly. Very comfortable hotel. Breakfast selection brilliant
The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel was in walking distance of two great pubs
All the staff were very helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and warm. The meal in the restaurant was excellent.
Amazing views. Good location. Breakfast tasty.Friendly and courteous staff. Double glazing excellent as we were next to toll road.
Bed uncomfortable, shower difficult to turn on, water could have been warmer.
location and very affordable
the bed was two singles and would slip apart during the night, the walls are paper thin and you can hear other peoples conversations next door.
Location. Guy on reception was friendly. Breakfast.
Shower was very hard to put on and the water not that hot.
