Location was really good. Breakfast excellent. Comfortable bed.
Well situated close to the centre of town, with all the facilities needed for our short stay. Breakfast was excellent, especially the breakfast waitress service. I suspect service might be slow when the room is full however! Good parking.
It's a lovely hotel, we've stayed twice now and will do so again. It's clean and very comfortable. Definitely recommend the Queens to friends and family.
Staff very helpful had very relaxing stay. Thank you will stop again when in the area
Lovely & very helpful staff. Close to town centre. Very comfortable beds & good hot shower. Decor is dated but charming. All in all a very pleasant stay.
The location & proximity to A38 The proximity to good pubs Breakfast Car park Bacon Sandwich at Midnight from a very helpful night porter
It's a very old hotel & the building has suffered from some movement in foundations which have caused un level floors, although tis adds to character it does effect the comfort in the rooms. The bar area's were very quiet The hotel seemed to shut at 11pm
Good value for money. Staff helpful and responsive to requests. Bed comfortable. Quiet room.
Lovely breakfast and helpful staff
Room was comfy, we stayed in 202 which is in the lodge, very spacious and has everything you need. The bed was really comfy too. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great
For what you pay here you can't complain about anything
Staff very helpful & friendly. We arrived early and as our room was ready we were able to book in there and then. This enabled us to spend more time to explore the area
Room, staff, 5 minute walk to Market area
Generally a bit faded, quite expensive compared to other similar hotels I've stayed in
Convenient for exploring the great real ale pubs in Burton. Comfortable and homely atmosphere. Good place to meet friends on the same mission !
Nothing I can think of!
staff friendly. breakfast waitress Doreda (?) was very good.breakfast was lovely.
the shower was very poor....more like a trickle, but bathroom was clean.
The stairs made you feel drunk
Excellent all round accomodation and central location with ample parking. Staff very helpful and allowed to check in early.
Only moan was extractor fan from kitchen running all night outside the room.
Breakfast was good
Staff were not friendly and courteous. complaining that their overtime had been stopped etc
Staff were helpful and friendly
All rooms are on the main road, as it is on a traffic island. Despite triple glazing do not stay here if you are anything other than a heavy sleeper.
The breakfast whilst slow was beautiful. receptionist was extremely pleasant and provided all expected.
The decor is tired and un inspiring. service at breakfast was very slow and tables are cramped
Free wi-fi, lovely staff and handy location.
Sadly the service in the restaurant in the evening and at breakfast was very slow. It took an hour from starters to the main course on Saturday evening and breakfast was just chaotic. We had to ask for the toast on several occasions and waited ages for tea and coffee to be served. Cannot fault the staff for their friendliness at all times
we have been looking for a hotel in this area and finally found it warm and friendly staff rooms spacious and the staff just leave you alone until you want them perfect
I found every thing fine
Front reception area and staff very polite and friendly
Dirty bedroom / en-suite Window jammed opened Batteries taken out of air conditioning handset Breakfast service very unorganised and not enough staff for to cater for full house. Took 40 minutes to serve breakfast with 15 minutes between my husband and I which meant we both ate separately I ordered bacon sandwich but couldn't eat fully as bread stale; was not offered an alternative. When my husbands full breakfast finally arrived after complaining it looked as if it had just been thrown on the plate
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely hot freshly cooked breakfast. Would stay again if in the area.
No phone in room
Rooms in the new block very good and well furnished
