All of our 8 rooms are as individual as the building. Please do call us if you require guidance. Some rooms are smaller but still have all facilities, some rooms have woodland view, some have loch view, some are ground floor, some have vaulted ceilings, some have double beds, some have king beds etc! The wifi can be patchy in such an old building but is available in the bar. We have a very good 4G phone signal. Our building is not slick and modern but traditional, welcoming, homely and run to professional standards by a Husband and Wife team with around 60 years joint experience.

The Whistlefield Inn has everything you want from a traditional Scottish drover's inn. The Whistlefield has many public areas to enjoy: the bar with cosy log burner and Rosie the coo; the Green Room is perfect for drinks or casual food and boasts comfy sofas, a log fire and wonderful views down the loch; the snug is just what it says it is; the restaurant is more for dining with breathtaking loch views. Our rooms are all individual so please do call us for advice as to which room would suit your needs best.

Whistlefield is a hamlet on the east shore of Loch Eck on the Cowal peninsula, Argyll and Bute, West of Scotland. It is home to the Whistlefield Inn, which was established in 1663. The hamlet is within the Argyll Forest Park which, is itself part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. The Whistlefield Inn is perched on the hill looking over the loch and mountains beyond.
