Amazingly beautiful view and very nicely kept, picturous hotel. All white, blue swimming pool, beautiful lighting and decore, candles, etc make it the best place for young couples. ** Please mind that there are huge steps that you will need to climb down from cliff to this hotel and same way up - hence not recommended for aged/matured ones. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free pickup and drop to airport. The owner of the suites stays there as well and is extremely helpful and friendly. A little pricey for this area as it is secluded and you will need cab or car to go anywhere.

As mentioned, you need to climb huge steps to go in/out of this hotel from cliff. Any facility to make this easy will be of great help and enable matured tourists to access this hotel too. I think it is a little pricy for the location - though they give indoor jaccuzy, good b'fast, and has amazing view and beauty to justify the price. However, with this price, I think Oia is also a good option which has benefit of morning sun and more stuff to do around (like art and jewellary shops). The location where Astarte is sitated is away, has almost no shops/restaurants, and you need to car or cab to see around.

The hotel is amazing! The photos don't do it enough justice. The view of the Caldera from the private terrace is breathtaking - as is the view as you overlook the infinity pool. There are quite a few stairs to get down to the hotel (as seems to be the norm for most places in Santorini) - but that is basically because the hotel is built into the side of the Caldera to ensure you get the most amazing views. As they say, no effort, no reward. The rooms are nicely decorated, really spacious and clean. We got upgraded to the honemoon suite on arrival which was a well received bonus! I would definitely recommend the suite for any prospective honeymooners! It was incredibly peaceful, romantic and private and the staff go above and beyond to make sure your needs are catered for. The management in particular were very helpful. George was so attentative and was always happy to recommend places to go and things to see, and generally anything else we needed. One evening he arranged for us to have the best table at an amazing restaurant in Fira in order to capture the volcanic firework celebration display, which was just incredible and we couldn't thank him enough! It says a huge amount about the quality of the hotel where a simple phone call by the manager makes that happen. If you want to relax in privacy, have all your needs catered for by a wonderful team of staff, step out of the hotel and not be met by noise then Astarte Suites will not disappoint. In addition, within a 10 minute walk is, in our view, one of the best spots to see the sun set in August (we preferred it to the sunset view in Oia).

The only negative point, which isn't at all a problem if you hire transport, is that there is not much around which is within walking distance (although for those seeking relaxation that is a bonus)! However, with a vehicle anywhere in Santorini can be reached within about 40 minutes maximum.

The breakfast options is a bit limited, but everything was very good always, and like I said the opportunity to have the breakfast on your room, quitely, with nothing but the sea in front of you, is priceless... another point, the hotel is in one extreme of the island, so dont expect to be in the center, but everything is at 10 to 15 min by car...

We did a lot of research and gave great consideration to which hotel to choose in Santorini for our anniversary. So we expected nothing less than perfection when we booked Astarte Suites. Still though we were simply amazed at how much Astarte exceeded our very high expectations. The property is gorgeous, private, well maintained and exotic. We arrived off season but were blown away with the service from the hotel manager no less. The chef provided extraordinary authentic Greek cuisine accompanied by fabulous Santorini wine, all with a background of the most breathtaking views. Overall, this was the best holiday I have ever been on. I travel a lot with work and have stayed in some of the best hotels across the world, but this truly topped them all. I almost cried when I had to come home. The hotel is not cheap, but I think is great value for money since you gain a lifetime experience.

Nous avons passé une lune de miel magique dans cet hotel. L'hotel Astarte est une petite structure située sur la cote sud de l'ile dans un endroit très calme. La vue sur la Caldera est à couper le souffle, que ce soit depuis la piscine a débordement ou depuis notre terrasse. Le transfert depuis et vers l'aéroport est assuré (sinon il serait difficile de trouver l'hotel par ses propres moyens) Le petit déjeuner inclus dans la prestation est servi sur notre terrasse privative. Possibilité de diner ou de prendre un repas près de la piscine (avec supplément) Les plats sont traditionnels, de grande qualité, avec des produits frais. Le rapport qualité / prix est excellent et le menu piscine est vraiment copieux. Le service est impeccable. La chambre de type troglodytique est confortable et décorée avec bon gout. Un atout incontestable, le jacuzzi dans la chambre, pavé de petits carreaux de mozaique, parfaitement intégré dans l'ensemble. Pour ceux qui souhaitent allier détente et découverte, possibilité de location de voiture ou de quad auprès de la réception. Le prix n'est pas plus excessif qu'ailleurs, et on loue vraiment pour une journée complète. Si on prend la location à 11h on restitue le véhicule le lendemain à 11h. Un hotel idéal pour tous ceux qui sont avides d'authenticité et de romantisme.

Une seule chose à signaler : l'hotel étant creusé dans une falaise, il faut emprunter une pente raide pour remonter jusque la route (pente sous forme de vastes marches) L'hotel n'est donc pas conseillé aux personnes agées ou personnes ayant des douleurs dans les jambes. Pas plus qu'à de jeunes parents ou enfants.

Fantastische Lage, über der Caldera thronend; sehr ruhig; man sieht Fira et al. von deren schönsten Seite: aus der Ferne... eigener Mietwagen von Vorteil; alle relevanten Orte gut erreichbar (bis Oia ca. 30 min; Flughafen ca. 20 min); Äusserst aufmerksamer und liebeswürdiger Service; sehr gutes Frühstück/ gute Auswahlmöglichkeiten; guter Kaffee; auch abends ansprechende Menukarte; ideales Romantikhotel.

酒店的工作人员非常的好，还能提供机场的接送，酒店的设施也非常不错，早餐也很好，房间外直接能够看见爱情- 海，非常不错

由于酒店位置比较远，可以考虑租车

πολυ καλο περιβάλλον ήρεμο, ιδανικό για ξεκούραση. οι άνθρωποι που δουλεύουν εκει κάνουν τα πάντα για να είναι όλα τέλεια και προσέχουν την κάθε λεπτομέρεια! έμεινα απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος απο την διαμονή μ!
